PEB timeline 2017

Yea that's right. My EAS was showing 20170710 and now it shows 9999999. My duty limit is "Y/PEB CASE ACCEPTED ". I had the V until a few weeks ago.

I'm Y/PEB CASE ACCEPTED and D/MEDICAL
status now my bad.

My EAS hasn't changed though. Maybe because it's 08/25/17 and we haven't gotten close enough to that date

I would check your EAS every week to ensure it hasn't changed. You can definably submit an extension. I've submitted two since this whole process started.

Why did you have to submit two if you haven't hit your EAS though and also your 9'd out so wouldn't you be ok?

My original EAS was 20170210 and I had just started the PEB process and extended until 20170410. To continue the process I had to submit a second that extended me until 20170710. Its been a shit show and I tried to leave, but they won't let me now since its 9'd out.

That's strange.. why has it taken so long for your package to be sent to the PEB though? I just started this process in march and my package was sent up early may being accepted on MOL the 18th.

By the way, I spoke with IPAC about it a couple days ago and they said you only get 9'd out once your finding have come back

Man I wish that was true. I've been waiting since 2 May and my PEBLO still doesn't show an update. I have no idea what my findings are. I called the actual PEB a few days ago and they don't know either.

I'm going to private message you.

Call your MSC. If your claim has been closed, he/she will be able to see it and get you a copy. Your PEBLO doesn't have access to the VA systems and won't see anything until the PEB sends their findings.

Disclaimer: I've seen on these forums a lot where people say their MSC won't cough up proposed ratings. I'm not sure why though. Mine printed them out for me the day after my claim closed.
So what do you mean by MSC?

Got my results yesterday 50% DOD 80% VA. Now just waiting on EAS to come back from D.C.

My timeline on eben just got updated. Last time it got update was when I was found unfit. Does this mean that they have proposed my ratings maybe? My peblo is really no help. Last time we talked she said they'd call me when my package returned. I'm just trying to get a timeline on when I will leave so I can send my doggo home, and other things.
My timeline on ebenefits updated for the first time today. So i'm guessing there is the possibility that some movement has happened on my case. I also called the VA today and this time they knew i was in IDES but didn't give me any status on my claim but told me to contact my MSC. Peblo still won't answer the phone.. are you on lejeune?

No im on MCBH

How long did it take you guys to receive an EAS? I was told it should be 1-2 weeks. Someone else told me 10 days. I want to hear it from someone that's gone through it before though.

I'd like to know too. My PEBLO said if it takes longer than 3 weeks from the day I accepted my findings (yesterday) to call him. My LIMDU Coordinator said they've been posting pretty quickly and to start checking out of BN next week.

Yea. I am as checked out as you can possibly get without an updated EAS. And I'm just trying to figure out how long it'll be before I know. I mean I sent my stuff to D.C. On the 13th. And they said it's averaging 10 days. However every timeline they have told me has been completely wrong.

Like all of those before me, I am trying to figure out about how long I have left in this hellacious process. So far my process is

2016Sep12: initiated MEB
2017Jan23: QTC appointment complete
2017March20: Package signed and sent to PEB
2017March22: PEB case accepted

And that's as far as I have gotten. My peblo said average times are quick right now. Is there any truth to that? My buddy said once he got to this point he was out of the Corps within a month and a half. Thanks in advance everybody
They are coming back faster. I talked to the case manager today. My board was restarted may 27, 2017 and I have one apt left via va the he said it should take 2weeks for that to go up and be sent back down to them. So I'm looking at another 2 months hopefully

I am now at the phase where ratings are done and am waiting signing. Following for info on timelines...

And I got my EAS today it is July 30th. Holy hell. That was a shitty process. All I have to say to people just starting. Good luck and have patience.
