Hello everyone! Here's my current timeline, for anyone interested.

SEP 2016 - LIMDU
JUL 21 - MEB initiated
AUG 18 - C&P Complete
OCT 2 - Signed NARSUM, Rebuttal submitted for addendum
OCT 12 - Packaged submitted

I spoke with a disability counselor today, he took a look but says my package hasn't even been accepted yet. He told me there was a big backlog of cases, and to call back after the first of the year. Based on the other timelines I've seen lately, I honestly expected to at least have a preliminary fit/unfit answer by now, but I guess my stuff got hung up somewhere. Ebenefits and Vets.gov have said that my case is in the gathering evidence stage since JUL 25.

Hope this helps somebody else out, I'll update it when I hear anything!

An update for anyone looking for a timeline to compare to. I finally got ahold of someone and found out that my claim was delayed for a long period of time due to needing additional information that the board never got. Once I called, they identified the problem, fixed it and it got sent off to the VA. Here's the timeline update:

SEP 2016 - LIMDU
JUL 21 - MEB initiated
AUG 18 - C&P Complete
OCT 2 - Signed NARSUM, Rebuttal submitted for addendum
OCT 12 - Packaged submitted
JAN 4 - Found out claim got delayed
JAN 18 - Claim sent to the VA

Also Navy.

Sep 9- Package went to Va
Dec25- Ebennies went to "pending decision approval"
22Jan2018-Ebennies created a completed historical case
23Jan2018-Called VA they said I had to wait 10 days for packet to be mailed

you can also call directly to PEB for some updates. 202-685-6416. I do know if it's sent to the VA,and they're rating it, you are UNFIT.

I was submitted for a bad knee and shoulder( these are the main) and a slew of other shite. It was submitted in September. then the 22Jan2018 went historical and i have to wait 10 days too.
@Lisa The PEB won't give you any info regaurding your specific rating %. However they can tell you who's desk it's at.

Just got the phone with my legal advice he stated my package was at the va ratings officer as of six days ago. The news I needed after a bad week.

Just for everyone's information and nerves because i know its constantly on my mind, after the VA goes through the rating process the "decision letter" is actually sent back to the PEB for the QA phase. This is the final approval process where all the information in the package is correctly formatted etc. so waiting on the 10 days for it to arrive in the mail actually wont happen. Not to disappoint anyone :( Though once it has the proposed ratings and is sent back to the PEB for the QA phase you are on the last leg! almost there. hang in there, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

my timeline by the way:
15Aug17 began medboard
26Oct17 package sent (command took 2.5 months to route NMA)
12Sep17 PEB received package
05Jan18 VA closed claim and sent to PEB
09Jan18 PEB received proposed ratings and QA phase began
26Jan18 no word as of yet. though i have talked to the actual PEB office (the number listed earlier in thread) and they stated it is in QA phase.
Was told this phase can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks and they complete around 60-70 packages a week with approx 500 package back up due to the gov shutdown last weekend (yay:mad:)

hope this helps!

Gives me time to squirrel away money

Well got a letter from VA saying they needed the states in which my children were born and that they found that I also qualify to claim Hypertension. I submitted it to my VA rep and he uploaded it. I'm wondering if this was the letter that was sent out and i had to wait 10 days for, or if this is just coincidental. Will the letter I'm waiting for have and actual rating on it?

If you call the VA after waiting 10 mailing days for your decision letter to come in the mail and it doesn't come then the VA will fax you a copy of the proposed VA rating. I call today and they faxed my letter. I got 100% VA.

Did your date keep changing once yours was at the rating office? My date got pushed up several months from june to september.

Yes it changed about 3 times. The only real useful thing with ebbenies is when your case goes "historical". Then you know for sure it's been rated and sent back to the PEB

Good to know i guess ill have to give them a call and see if i can get that faxed! the waiting really increases the stress that is already on all of us im sure

Ok so VA sent me proposed rating!!! Right shoulder(30%) is one of the things PEB was started also left knee(10%). My total is 90%. So my question is with the two conditions I was submitted for will it equal a DOD 30%? I think it will.proposed rating.JPG
