CRSC at ten months processing time Army

I put my application 3 March 2017 and they told me it gets done when it gets done. I was shocked by the response, but I guess its pretty accurate.

Shoot I applied 26 April 2017 still waiting as well. PDRL 70% VA 100% IU P&T

Approved CRSC on 2/5/18. Applied 3/21/17. 221 Business Days and 322 calendar days. I’ll add my back pay timeline once it comes in. Good luck to all and I hope this helps.

Indeed, congratulations; this is outstanding news for sure! :D

Hopefully in a couple of more months, a favorable CRSC decision is also received as based upon my submission timeline. Take care!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer!"

Best Wishes!

Got My approval on 29 Jan 2018. Now the process of waiting for payment.

What was your High 3?

I’ll post how I did the math to get your possible CRSC payments but I’ll need your High 3.

4 months/12 months=.25
8.25 active years x .025=.20625
.20625 x 3750 High 3=773.44 retirement pay for time

3750 x 50%=1,875 disability retirement

1,875 disability retirement pay - 773.44 time retirement pay = 1,102
1,102 is your VA off set

CRSC rates are the same as VA disability rates. You said 4 dependents so I am assuming married with three children under the age of 18? The VA rate for this is 1,080.

1,080 CRSC - 1,102 VA off set =-22 CRSC payment

This is the equation that was on HRC website and another military benefits website. I maybe wrong with my math.

So check your numbers also. I may have missed something. I was about 100 off on my CRSC calculation compared to what DFAS had on mypay.

I wish I had a better answer but this is what I came up with. I’ll run your numbers again and I’ll post if I come up with a different sum.

Is that what you are asking for?
Yes this was what I was asking for. This number comes off your retirement orders. This is multiplied by your disability percentage. Your active duty time is multiplied by .025 x years active. Your retirement is the higher of the two. Both numbers should be on your orders.

I'm getting more in VA compensation than retirement

I'l take my chances it doesn't sound right. Plus I have over 22 years all together. Guard and active duty time
