  • Just saw the podiatrist and my foot is still broken very frustrating, I really enjoyed running. Saw legal and they said estimate 40/80
Almost a year from now when you retire, you could get 2 paychecks! One from the military and one from the VA. That my friend is worth fighting for. That year goes by quicker than you think.

Thanks for advice and I will definitely look into TDRL and possibly look into the continuation on active duty. What did you have to do to get TDRL? I have not heard that mentioned in any of the classes.

I am talking to my PEBLO this week about the situation.
I will be happy with the medical retirement. Its hard not being able to do the things I used to do. I used to love to run and do everything else with the soldiers but my body has been telling me no the last couple of years.
I could retire with 20 years in July of 2018 but I have been on profile for over a year. I was told I maybe med boarded. Any info pls

Fight it! I'm on TDRL could retire 2018 as well if I was still in.

Your post is very vague. What's your medical condition?

Can you get off the profile for one PT test? Struggle through it and go back on afterwards if you must. That would give you more time in. Just my opinion

I have a broken bone in my foot that has taken a really long time to heal and I have bad circulation in my legs. The med board has already started and I might just take what I can get with med board. I think I have enough conditions that I could get close to 80 or 90 percent.
