My timeline: back pain, failed back surgery

The SCS itself wasn't claimed, but the back pain and failed back surgery (combinded) were. It makes sense to me though. We are getting rated for the issues, not the equipment that helps us. If we did, then we'd get nothing for things like this or apnea, etc.

My timeline: back pain, failed back surgery

The exams were cold and informal. A lot of questions, a lot of bending, a lot of watching me walk. Just make sure they look at everything that is in your medical records. My VA helped me file for things I didn't even consider and I got rated for them. Make them say no. I do have a few things...

My timeline: back pain, failed back surgery

13 Feb: Recommended retirement. 30AF/100VA. Since I am over 20yrs the AF rating doesn't really matter, right? I mean, I could FBoard it to try to get some things not determined unfitting added, but in the end with offsets and stuff, it's still going to be the same as my time in service numbers...

New to the process MEB for Migraines and degenerative disc disease w/ETS Apr 2019

Worst part of it - I have to sit here at work and watch paint dry until it's all over. Over 20 yrs of service and I'm caged for 9 hrs a day with nothing to do but lose my sanity.

New to the process MEB for Migraines and degenerative disc disease w/ETS Apr 2019

I am still very much in the same boat (and almost the exact same timeline) so if you hear anything new, please keep us posted. I'll do the same. I'm about to crawl out of my skin if this takes too much longer.

Air Force here. Almost at the three month mark with no ratings. I also got q new PEBLO that doesn't answer his phone or return emails. At the three month mark I'm gonna start raising hell.

Should i be speaking to an attorney?

AF in IDES now. Office of the Airman's Council said to reach back to them after IPEB findings. Until then there is nothing they can really do due to lack of a decision and/or ratings.

    AF reserves hypogonadism MEB

That's why I recommend you go get labs done. If you don't look out for you, no one else really will. Get the labs done, then you have proof to show them that you don't have that condition. Once you have that, work with a patient advocate and get it set right. You already know they are putting...

    AF reserves hypogonadism MEB

Any chance you can request a lab test to just rule it all out and be done with it?

    AF reserves hypogonadism MEB

Didn't think hypogonadism (low testosterone) was considered a disqualifying condition anyways.

My timeline: back pain, failed back surgery

I just found on the DFAS site: https://www.dfas.mil/retiredmilitary/plan/estimate/csbredux.html Disability Retirees and Reserve/Guard members retiring at age 60 (or younger in some cases) are exempt from all provisions of the CSB/REDUX provisions except the 1 percent COLA reduction.

My timeline: back pain, failed back surgery

Yea I get different answers as well, but from the looks of it it'll be High-3. I hope it goes fast as it has for a few on here, because my Command is giving me so much grief I am just done with it. I had 20 great years, and they've made my remaining time hell. Update to timeline: Nov 2010...
