If you are DOD TDRL/PDRL retired with less than 20 years of service please read.

My personal opinion is it is worth it to submit the package and get your discharge changed to a retirement. It will be a very long process but in the end it may be worth it depending on your situation. If you are getting VA at 90% as you stated then it will not change anything money-wise...

Retirement Process for Air Force (PDBR)

FINALLY! My DD214 and Retirement orders are finally in milconnect. Now we will see how long until the DFAS portion gets worked but due to my VA rating I wont get any retired pay anyway so they can take as long as needed I suppose...... But YAY! I am retired! (back dated to 2004...... so now...

    VA Gathering Evidence

Mine said "development letter sent" and I had no idea. I happened to be going through and deleting junk from my e-mail and I had a weird email that I thought was SPAM. Opened it because it said something in the subject about a VA claim (the email was NOT from the VA). It was an e-mail saying...

Retirement Process for Air Force (PDBR)

My DD214 and orders are still not in milconnect. I tried calling AFPC (retirements section) and they said that I have to contact the board. I tried calling the board and they said that they are done with their portion and I need to contact AFPC (retirements section). So I am stuck in a loop...

    E-Benefits Claim Details

This morning my status was the same and it still showed that my estimated completion window had passed (11/4/2018-11/09/2018). I just logged in again on a whim and now my window has changed! So.... they just made this change within the last 4 hours but they sure didn't give themselves much...

Nope. I tried that yesterday LOL. I mean, try and if they tell you please let me know so I can try again :-) But they literally read the same screen I can see to me and told me that they had no further information and could not tell me until it was signed and approved.

    E-Benefits Claim Details

Mine says: 11/05/2018 - 11/09/2018 Two weeks ago it had different dates (through 11/29/2018) so I was really hoping that I would get the decision quickly. But um..... tomorrow?... What are the odds

    E-Benefits Claim Details

I only have 1 claim and it is an add on (I already have a disability rating for 2 others). In fact, it's an add on for something that the VA found, diagnosed and is actively treating!!! You would think it would be fast and easy..... But I have been at "Pending Decision Approval" for a month...

    Placed on PDRL

I am not an expert of course, but Yes. It is my understanding that if you refuse your VA appointments they can discontinue or lower your VA compensation payments. This is the case because if you discontinue VA appointments then it looks as though your disability is not dire and you don't...

    No DD-214??? HELP!

I wouldn't leave until I got those documents. You cannot get a retired ID without them.

    E-Benefits Claim Details

In theory, it should mean that you are really close because the decision has already been created, they are just waiting for final approval. However, I am working on getting something added to my rating and I have been at the same status as you for almost 2 weeks. I have no idea how long it is...

    Last stages of PDBR??

So I am super curious how the worksheet goes and what all they compensate you for. Primarily because I am curious about Base, BX and commissary privileges. I don't see how they can ever repay us for those services we have been denied for the last decade+ but I am curious if they even attempt it

    Tricare back pay

I haven't had any tricare briefings yet.... Do you know anyone that has asked for back pay yet? I am curious if this includes health insurance premiums, Meaning: Sine tricare wasn't an option I had to sign up for health insurance through my employer instead.

Case on it's way to PDBR Board

Up until recently, I had almost the same exact timeline as Perci75. I too submitted the original forms years ago and forgot about them. received the letter saying that it was approved and I would be changed from 20% to 30% and permanent retired list. Got that letter on June 10th. Contacted...

    Last stages of PDBR??

Yeah that is what I found online too which is why I was asking if you had 20 years in the service. I was hoping you had a different answer LOL. So having completed 20 years in the service is the key to concurrent pay. I was excited when I saw the same page until I really payed attention to...
