Case Transfered From DRB to BCNR?

Hello all. I filed a case with the DRB (Discharge Review Board) in July ‘17 trying to get my administrative discharge changed to a medical discharge (after looking back over my medical records I discovered they diagnosed me with being in perimenopause, which is story I will post about later). Well, today I received a letter from the Navy Board of Corrections of Military Records. Has anyone else had this happen? Maybe the DRB transfered it over to the BCNR b/c they can’t change my discharge to a medical? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, the lack of clarity and vast difference in interpretation/execution of guidance between the services leads me to believe military service organizations ought to take the MEB/PEB/DRB/BCMR process on as a priority.
