That's great you got your ratings! My husband's is pending decision approval right now. We are waiting on ratings, I wanted to ask...since you have 10 years...you will pick DOD or VA right? They can't be concurrent?

28 DEc 2016 ratings received 70% TDRL DOD 100%VA
My Christmas was good, living in lodging on base since my husband and daughter are PCSing but we where all together so I couldn't have asked for anything more. That's so great that you received your ratings on the 28th. My eBenefits just changed from review of evidence to pending decision approval. So my fingers are crossed that I will hear attleast a proposed rating soon. If you don't mind me asking, what did you claim.

Your ebenefits should be moving on pretty well in the next couple days, it will stay at pending decision approval but you should look out for historical claims, that's when you know the VA has proposed ratings.
I got 70% for major depressive disorder, 30% for migraines. 20% for both shoulder and glaucoma. and then 9 items at 10% and 5 at 0%.

I hope it moves fast. It seems to be moving quick now. I will keep checking the historical claims so I can see when my proposed rating is completed. That's good you got 70% for the major depressive disorder, I have been on mess for the past seven years for the depressive disorder. The way I read my C&P exams I believe I will get 30% for that. So happy for you though. Now you can breath and know you will be taken care of when you get out.

Is anyone else having to wait longer than a week for your orders?

So on the 3rd of Jan. my claim went to historical on eBenefits so I called my Peblo 4 Jan. And she said that the VA sent my proposed claim to IPEB for approval. My PEBLO would not tell me my proposed rating so I went to a local VA and they printed it out for me. States percentage and why they gave me that specific percentage for each claimed condition. I got a 100% VA. Now just waiting on the Air Force.

SGT Crazy. Did you receive your official VA letter yet? I'm wondering how long that takes. I accepted my findings and signed for them last week. The package contained the VA Proposed ratings letter. After I handed the findings over to the VA rep he said that we have to wait on the official letter. I'm just wanting to apply for jobs but I gotta have that VA letter to get those 10 preference points!

I don't think I got a letter besides the package that came from the VA. I haven't heard anything about that.

So I am a little confused about where I am in the process, maybe someone can chime in and enlighten me...
My commander has signed my letter to the board and my package went to the initial MEB? and Medical Standards about 2 weeks ago. My PEBLO said that once my package has been returned I will be meeting with the VA Rep to start that process. He has made it seem like I am progressing well but I am unsure how deep I am into the process. Any insight would be great, thank you!

Once it goes to VA rep, you will start to see VA for medical evaluations, the VA will then begin to determine the severity of your unfitting condition, depending on how many other claims you have it could take longer.
