That doesn't seem to be the case for me unfortunately. My package was sent on 11 Sep, and I'm biting my nails waiting for the results. I emailed my MSC, and he gave me some generic answer on timeline. They've had my package since 23 May. This waiting is driving me nuts!!No problem. Yeah, initially that speedy turnaround alarmed me, but I've been told that they go over all of the paperwork that they have had for months on end prior to getting the final package and have most of the review done. My claim documents were there since June (3 months prior) before I signed my 618 and they got the final package.

honestly no lol I was expecting to be medically separated and not on the permenant retirement list. The VA was a little low TBH but the fact that I now get a retirement and VA check makes up for the fact
You've been in a full 20?
no only 7 but 50 percent or more from DoD allows you to get a retirement check as well. ive read it along with my peblo and finance telling me the same thing
Congrats! That's great news!found my results today 50% Dod 70% VA
Geez, that's the frustrating thing in this whole process...too many questions, not enough answers or people to answer them. Well, regardless, I hope you get what you want!!ive done that calculator before and i talked with finance today...... i understand yalls concerns but i was told by everyone in finance with 50% DoD rating i will get retirement... grant it wont be much with only 7 years in but i will get something it will be the greater of 2 options
1. percentage
retired base pay times the 50% DoD disability
or
2. credible years
2.5% times 7 years times retired base pay
i did the calculator just now and it had a 0 in DoD retirement, but finance did something saying i will be getting something for retirement
Anyone catch those orders yet? lol
not yet said it takes roughly 10 business days unless AFPC wants to do some work
