Darby009- thought I would also inform you, as depending on your ratings will determine you VA Compensatation rate, which is not really much if deemed even 100% disabled and UN-employable, TDIU, etc...as may affect your situation:

Chaplain Charlie- thanks, and respectfully not quite the point! I have, unfortunatley walked in whole bunch of shoe's, until a Super Moderator on this site pulled a "rabbit" out of the "ether" and got my TriCare back for me. Only reason I am still "breathing" and not 6-feet under or 11-"fathoms" below..... take on'e pick thank's to the VA.....

For those struggling with a host of issues', due to their self-less servisce "money" in fact becomes a major factor that has to be "SIGNIFICANTLY" balanced with "quality" of life issues....

The reason, being, one must read what it takes to overcome this issue and the "total" cost of "treatment," i.e. diet modification (organixc- expensive), home modification, to buying right kind of vehicle, clothes, home furnishings, air/water filters, home "Chemical Free Zone Tent," etc...... (lat I looked the VA nor TRICRAE nor even Medicare will "pay" or assist in paying many of these things...)

Remember, Vietnam veterans- Agent Orange, Burn-Pit's etc... War on Terror VET's- Burning Oil Fields/ Pipe Lin'es, Chem Munitions, Burn Pit's, IED's, Burning Vehicles etc... and I am sure remaining WWII and Korean War veterans many of same or similar things as well......

This is a very complex issue, in and of itself, not well studied by US DVA tec....as well as expensive to treat- Allegria, just being one of many things possibly required.... and any cost savings veterans and "retirees' on fixed income can in fact "scrape" together is in fact to many a "god-send!"

I am more than sure Allegria or "fexofinidene" is not only medication Express Scripts is out of quite a bit...but have not checked personally, think "others" should" that veterans and retirees' can get free Express Scripts but whenout, have the "honor" and privlidge of a "co-pay" of some sort or being 20-40 dollars out of pocket for OTC??????

Thanks Chaplian Charlie, and hope this some-what clarfies the issue, I am talking about..... perhaps this is one of those situation's veterans' and retirees' perhaps write their locally elected "law-makers???????''' If they so desire........

Darby009- if still with the PEBForum Program, thought would re-iterate something about MyHeatheVet Secure Messaging. I, and understand other's who in past have "crossed" folks like Head of a VA System- like the former Head x2past of Gulf Coast VA, have suddenly experienced issue's with said system.

If call the MHV Help Desk, they will most likely ask for a message ID, see attached example MSG Highlighted in "yellow!" This hard to do unless write them down constantly as, who, especially those TBI etc... can remember them?

Anyway, will need a "premium" MHV account to access this feature- which when works, is exceedingly helpful. However, it too has "significant" issues. The message's are in fact "screend" by admin staff/ nurses etc... ebfore reach intended recipent, and some VA doctors/ dentist's themselves have problems logging on to this system, and given o"overload" of veterans in system some provider's simply become swamped.... as one showed me all the MHV Secure traffic she alone gets.....

I have complained, sadly to VA OIG, Former Head VA, and the Head Shed in Maryland of MHV System- Congressmen/Senator's- and still have issues....i.e. no "changie" .... but that is status quo for the US DVA!!!!!

Hopefully, you will not encounter these issue's if as VA personnel themselves will tell you, "not" rock the boat by contacting "Law Maker's or hiring, lord forbid, a "VA Attorney" to represent you......

Also, so you are also aware, as per my one and only TDRL Eval, and my VA provider's as well those at SHARE in Atlanata GA, one is supposed keep VA MH Provider's, etc... constantly abrest of what is going on in your life.... hence journalism, sales receipt notes etc... that I myself keep and "periodically" send my providers....

Anyway, hope this assist's you and other's with, perhaps similar issues.....

Darby009- (if still following) in continuing from Post Above Thought would SHARE why I personally do not write "law Makers" any more, but not discouraging or anyone else from doing so by any or all means:

I have dealt with VA etc… now for 10(+) years and nothing tangible has in fact changed despite writing just about everyone humanly possible, countless times! The only way I have really achieved anything is in fact through attorneys at considerable cost and time and effort…. very sadly….

As I have been told by numerous attorney’s, Senators and Congressmen cannot, by themselves direct any Federal Agency, what to do! They can only suggest/inquire! A law, must in fact be passed by Congress to get a Federal Agency to do anything- and is a law going to be passed for any one individual? Odds are not, and getting any bill through congress is a nightmare in and of itself- with all the competing interests of the parties involved, constituents, businesses etc…

Also, there are supposedly Congressional “Liaison’s” at these Federal Agencies- I have seen them myself at VA-in action- and they simply bought the VA’s “Party Line” and affected no change what so ever… I do not know if these Liaisons are part of a different branch of government or work for individual Senators and Congressmen, and/or are full- time job- if so they too are part of what is termed as “Deep State”- which I will address next….

Since our elected officials cannot direct a Federal Agency what to do, these agencies, such as the VA, simply pay tacit compliance, and then resume business as usual…. this is because there is little to no follow up by Congressional staff, liaisons, etc… as Congressional staff, individually, are not equipped/manned for this…..

Then there are all the rules and laws for terminating federal employees… which are well above and beyond ridiculous- one only must look to former head Gulf Coast VA, and other senior VA leadership around country that have been in news-papers/media for various wrong-doings to clearly see this…. So they remain ultimately in place and empowered to influence a whole host of thing via “networks” they have either created or become part of….

Gulf Coast VA/VISN-17 is a simple microcosm of this in totality… as over the last decade numerous folks from Washington DC VA HQ have been down here to supposedly “FIX” things and simply everything remains largely as it was since my entry in this heinous system since over 10-years ago…

Thus, part of the overall “Deep State” - life-long senior Federal employees- have been able to exploit a “seam” in the “system,” that is our Federal Government, without impunity for an exceedingly long time!!!! Also, if retired or simply fired… they can in fact become even more influential as “Grey Beards,” so to speak, through the networks and contacts they just left- as are no longer largely bound/constrained by the rules and regulations they were employed under! Also, as they become members of extra-former-employment networks or new networks, thereby further linking networks and systems!
Therefore, nothing really changes, - nor probably- ever will- as this system is most likely well beyond any level of reigning in by those in power, unless “laws” are radically changed…. But that as we all know is a very lengthy, time-consuming process and Senator’s and Congressman must be re-elected- which is two years for Congressmen- so with that turn-over in Congress what “collective working memory” is there to “prosecute” any lasting change in this system……???????

Then you have “special interest- “in case of the VA a whole host of $BIG Dollar$ interests like big Pharma, medical equipment, office suppliers, etc.… to name a few! This is not to mention the VA is the Second Largest Federal Employer behind DOD. So, if simply Congress or anyone wanted to change this system radically, it would be worse than the US military’s BRAC- as endless argument would ensue about what was or was not going to remain in whose “District” or “State”- HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC!!!!!!!!!

I, very painfully, got a VA OIG Investigation initiated (still never heard if closed out or not), and a person from one of the Vet Service Organizations told me they were trying to “crack” the Gulf Coast VA System for a long time to no-avail- which brings up a bigger question…! Why of all the numerous VA System’s- are only a handful- supposedly darn good, and others simply beyond atrocious like the Gulf Coast VA System - which is 1-Star System now- and should have never been the Five Star System it was to begin with… able to obviously withstand this type of, dare I say, “INFILTRATION?????, by the “Deep State?”

That is for others to ponder and beyond me to figure out…. But the “Deep State” is in fact alive and well, one only must look as far as the Gulf Coast VA/VISN-16 to get a glimpse of it at work…… and a huge seam in our beloved Democracy Exploited…as every system has its weak-spot’s… just a people do….

GEN/President Eisenhower, allegedly, feared the “military/Industrial complex” as, and he would have personally known, is it is exactly what helped bring Nazi Germany to power… so if “life-long” VA “Deep-State” employees have in fact been compromised by “special-interest” or other interest’s does this not in fact compound the issues to Infinity “∞” in the VA alone for example???????? What if they transfer to another Federal Agency- which they can do???

There is also another issue at work- “education”- Thomas Jefferson supposedly stated the best defense against any tyranny is an “highly-educated” populace… sadly most regular VA employees are not this, in my experience… and there is no system of “IQ/Job Competency Testing” etc. in place before they are in fact hired (as I have asked numerous folks about this) further compounding the VA’s numerous issue’s… or is it simply by design?????? Questions for others to ponder…but from extensive personal experience, any employee I have known at the VA to ask hard questions or “buck” the system (so to speak) has paid dearly for it, personally and professionally…….

Finally, myself and other veterans I know, have been cautioned by VA employees, themselves, from writing Senators and Congressmen or even hiring attorney’s- now why would this be? Do they know something other’s simply do not??????

Thanks….. and hopes this in fact helps someone else, and once again, I am by no means at all discouraging others from writing their Elected Officials as it sometimes, not quite often as in my case, pays off and informs them as well! But I have simply had more effect with attorney's than anything else..... hope folks at least think about this??????

I would, if anyone so inclined, highly recommend "The Complete Guide To Hiring and Firing Government Employees" by Stewart Liff- as I gave this as a gift to several very good VA employees who were in fact, as I stated above, "any employee I have known at the VA to ask hard questions or “buck” the system (so to speak) has paid dearly for it, personally and professionally……." to utilize as kind of a "reverse playbook" to protect themselves and careers, etc....., but even then some-supposedly had to retain attorney's..... Just something for folks to think about as very coin has how many sides?

Just a "Quick" Update here! Kind of like the song goes "How Bizzare" I did as Express Scripts Recommended as well as Chaplain Charlie, and had a prescription called into a local Food Store/Pharmacy yesterday. Never got a call! So called my "allergist" office- they in fact called it in. So called the Retail Food Store/Pharmacy- said issues with "Fexofenadine HCL" tablets- i.e. out of stock behind the counter, but had their Stores Brand name on the shelf to buy over the counter- as Pharmacy Clerk checked, and I verfied with a bottle I had previously purchased....

So being "inquisitive" or "due-diligence," take one's pick, I asked "how do you have your store brand in-stock, for full price, but not the one behind the counter, I can get at discount Express Scripts?" Answer, we sold out of that, and supposed to get more in by 1400-hours CST tomorrow!

Now, how is this simply possible or make any sense to anyone that might simply be concerned with this state of affairs.....????

Once again- the band "Publix Ensmy" ... most likely got it right song "Blure Steel" or the song "The ant's go marching 2x2,......" I guess it reall is all Just "Catch-22" for veterans and retirees...

This is not only case I have found, Express Scripts, sent me 6 or 8 syringe's and charged me well over a $1.00 a syringe. Can get same syringe at another local Retal?Pharmacy/ Grocery store apprx. .25-cents a syringe plus/minus tax, or 100-Syringes free from the US Department of Veteran's affair......hummph.... doe this not strike anyone else odd as welll or am I the only one??????

Yet again, I wrote "Law-Maker's" about above, but not sure if anything happened or not, as had stop taking this medication due to Chemical Allergies.... contained Cobalt!!!!!! Cobalt (Prussian Blue...), in right quantity can in fact "induce" cardiac arrest... and was at one time supposedly utilized in beer to "control" the head or foam of the beer- believe it or not!!!!! (Simply look on-line encyclopedia- I sent it to VA personnel MHV Secure MSG etc.....)

Well I hope this "mystifies" some folks as it does myself..... and hopefully spawns debate in "right" circles..... as band Kansas sings "Wheel in the sky keeps on turning.....

Well, well, well, I just went to PU my "fexofenadine HCL" my allergist called in. With, the awesome co-pay for 92 Tablet's it was $46.95, and store said something about not carrying behind counter anymore.... not quites sure as did not get it all....hummph????

Now- if Express Scripts had this in "stocK" it would be free or even from the US DVA it would in fact be free..... how is all this possible??????

Like, previously stated, this is simply ONE medication and one "medical" condition out of countless Veterans' and retirees deal with....... most of whom are on a fixed income??????

Odd, as well, as walking thought heard a "call" to prayer in Arabic..... talk about a flash-back- as was stationed in "down-toen" Balad Iraq, next to 1,000 (+) year old Mosque we had to protect from both Sunni and Shiite's from blowing up. Had to listen to "call" to prayer 5-times a day- talk about "psychological warefare" as told person behind counter when picking up medications.... Said they had never heard it, and told them basically, have to live the "dream" to understand...... and if I never hear another as long as I live will be too soon!

Surprisingly, Alabama, is a "clandestine" 'SANCTUARY STATE' and some groups, like Judicial Watch, I believe, are supposedly getting ready "sue" State Attorney General over.......???????

Oh well guess we veteran's and "retirees' simply need to keep "marching-on" like the "Ants" in "You-Tube" Video "The ants go marching one by one song" at

Darby009- I hope your "Experience" with the US DVA system you are about to enter is much better than mine and a "whole" "host" of other's. Tying in with "Why I No Longer Write Elected Official's" is the following:

I entered the Gulf Coast VA System, in particular, the Mobile, Alabama VA Outpatient Clinic (MOPC) well over 10-years ago and nothing has changed. It was in fact a VA provider that "encouraged" me to write, our local elected official's- oddly, but this individual had a Brain Tumor, that VA Official's and other's knew about, and that it was "affecting" his cognition significantly, but continued to allow him to "practice" until said tumor actually killed him- very regrettably.

That being said, this "individual" kept placing me on medications. he was aware made me "flip" out and as result- the guest of "Federal/State Government," etc... comments...

Since, my time in Gulf Coast VA, the MOPC MH desk, still does not answer their phone's, as they did for almost an entire year in the "entire" clinic back I believe in 2008. I have severe "issues' with most "psycho-tropic" medication's and did not realize the medication my "civilian" rheumatologist placed me on yesterday after finally, "officially" being diagnosed with "Fibroymalgia" was in fact an anti-depressant. So called the Biloxi VA Operator twice to be connected with MOPC MH, twice, yet again no-one answered the phone, to try and get ahold my VA MH Psycharist see if this medication, "safe" for me to take..... now remember this has been going on well over 10-years and have written everybody "humanly" possible about it to include but not limited to VA OIG...and nothing has changed.....

So, yet again, I had to call the Head Chaplain at Gulf Coast VA HQ, in Biloxi, MS to see if they could get ahold my MH Provider prior thi s upcoming long-weekend....??? (I np longer deal with the head Patient Advocate Gulf Coast VA for numerous reasons, as was also, supposedly IAW VA Employee's best-buddies 2x Director's [Now in Houston, TX VA] past the US DVA tried for over a year to fire, and as they say have had "significant" issues!!!!)

Furthermore, MOPC has an elevator, that has been "broken" since before I entered this "wonderful" system, and it is-yes "Believe It Or Not"- still broken and have met VEt's who have been trapped in it for hours as well as I have been told VA Provider's.....now how about those "apple's.."????????

Also, been told by VA staff the MOPC was one of worst in VA System, for over-prescribing medications, not too long ago....

I could simply go on, but hopefully you get the idea of what you may be walking into.... I sincerely hope not... but would encourage you to learn as much about VA and your conditions as humanly possible, as no one is really going to take the time to teach you any of this.....

Myself, and I am no expert, started simply listening to other veterans and "looking" what they said or claimed on the internet.... and this eventually led me other resources I have posted on this website.....

As mentioned in other Post’s on this forum, I have been “guest/hostage” of Federal-State Government and sadly, because my local community is known as an “author’s” paradise, etc… and has built in and well-established propaganda mill < “Pravda” have experienced so many issues it is beyond belief….
Among them is my “house” I tried to “renovate” largely to the way it should have been built in the “first” place as per City Building Inspector, could no tell where- IAW State Law, etc.… I believe, no “pre-occupancy” inspection was eve done by the cIty….. Alos, Had numerous issues with the Home Owner’s Association, who got the City involved in form of Law Enforcement etc….
Oddly, my “contractor” folks had to file police report as one of their employees was almost run down with a vehicle…etc…..

IAW my Realtor, who is attempting to “assist” me in selling this house….. they are well aware I, in addition to everything else, have “home-owner’s” PTSD, that IAW Ward Lucas in “Neighbors at War: The Creepy Case Against Your Homeowner's Association” (at https://www.amazon.com/Neighbors-Wa...TF8&qid=1518854287&sr=8-4&keywords=ward+lucas ) in Appendix D “HOA Syndrome” describes in detail. I actually contacted Mr. Lucas to verify this was real, and yes, it is very real, several thousand folks a year suffer it, and some-sadly- commit suicide because of it!!!!!!! (Also IAW paper's, etc..., Veteran's much, much more distinguished in COMBAT on behalf of the NATION than myself, getting into issue's with HOA's/POA's across the USA for simply flying an American Flag in their front yards......???????)

So, with, crud in my jet’s in DR. prescribed “jet-hot-bathtub” for pain management I cannot get out, and now having to deal with this “fibroymaligai” issue, that should have been handled long ag, one can see what a lot of “disabled” veteran’s and retiree’s are in fact put through for their “self-less” service to the nation, and supposedly keeping the “wolf” on “foreign” shores…….

In short- as an "old-timer" VA employee with the Gulf Coast VA System Transition Care Management (OEF/OIF/New Dawn), has stated to me, and I concur- whole-heartedly; there needs to be a "much" enhanced system put in place- kind of like the US Military's RSOI (Reception, Staging, Onward Movement and Integratin), were veteran's returning from combat are in fact - thoroughly tested upon return from Combat duty and then moved through the system "seamlessly" with the right "treatment" modalities from the start with a "highly" modern and "integrated" Health Team, such as SHARE/Shepherd Center in Atlanta Georgia, etc...!

Oh, well that is my .25-cents worth....other's can in fact decide for themselves....?????

However, all veteran's and retiree's need to remember- if they perhaps do not, that they are their own best "self-advocate's" and if such as system is to "ever" be implemented then perhaps we ALL need to consider writing our elected "official's," as they say, "en-mass" and demand much better of "those" who send US ALL to foreign lands to keep "THE WOLF AT BAY...." PERHAPS SOMETHING TO PONDER??????????

(pS: In our own, US History- during the Great Depression- THousand's of WWI Veterans marched on Washington DC over their "un-paid" compensation.....etc... ChaplainCharlie is correct! His info comes straight from the VASRD mental health section. I was rated 70% mental health via the same criteria and many others on this site have been rated by the same scale. If however; someone ends up having an overall rating based on 4.a of the DBQ but has numerous check marks on section 7 that fall into a higher bracket, they should have an easy appeal.

Darby009- it just struck me on the below, from your original post (in Blue Bold), and do not know if anyone has in fact ever tried, but an "Independent" evaluation from a "Occupational Therapist" to really asses your "intermittent ability" to perform activities of daily living, might also help????? I do not know if the US DVA hires many nor any "Occupational Threapist's" to do assessment's such as this and/or for the US DVA "Caregiver" Program, which based on below you might "qualify" for particularly if rated 70% or greater and then really if rated I/U- Individual Un-employability which "compensates you at the 100% US DVA Disabled rate even though only rated 70%! Also, you only posted MH conditions- if have "physical: conditions as well will greatly contribute to your overall rating- such as "carpol" tunnel syndrome, bad back and or shoulders, etc......

"-Intermittent inability to perform activities of daily living, including maintenance of minimal personal hygiene"

If do not know what an "Occupational Therapist" does, I recommend several books but the following should suffice, and has good general information for any 'college student' in general: "SO YOU WANT TO BE A THERAPIST? How to become a Physical or Occupational Therapist" -Paperback –October 21, 2013 by Dr. Kirk G Painter (Author) ( at https://www.amazon.com/THERAPIST-be...43&sr=8-6&keywords=occupational+therapy+books )

IAW this book, and other's "Occupational Therapist's" are "crossed-trained" in a whole host of discipline's such as "physical Therapy," "Psychology", "general Medicine," etc....furthemore, if for instance have "carpal TunneL" can measure what you can actually do with your hands on various sized object's from very small to very big; check vision, speech, and how all interplay's with your "daily" activities or "Routine,"......etc......

At Share Program in Atlanta, the "Osspational Therapist" was fantastic and utilized a "Jamar Hydraulic Hand Evaluation Kit, Includes Hydraulic Hand Dynamometer, PincGauge, & Finger Goniometer,....Measure PSI, Max Force Indicator to Measure Hand & Grip Strength" on my hands and fingers (Jamar Device at https://www.amazon.com/Jamar-Evalua...8951228&sr=8-6&keywords=jamar+hand+dynamomete) this had never been done by the US DVA not even for a "compensation and pension exam or reevaluation" which is odd as caropl tunnel can greatly affect "hand" strenght, especially after surgery- as well as various other conditions! Also, pain "thresholds' can also be "scientifically" evaaluated now- do not know if US DVA "executing/ diong" this or not!!!!! (These all questions your US DVA Primary Care Doctor!)

Well Darby009, I wish you the best, and if in fact have other conditions other than MH might want post as other's can give better assement of "total-combined" US DVA rating might be-

As previously stated, ther are, other resources out there, and do not know if this "occupational Threapist" "brain-storm," so to speak will actually assit you and/or others or not- other's can chime in on that...?????

This does not count military schooling, civilian schooling completed and other's attempted and not completed due to "incurred" injuries from Combat etc...
All of this has been utilized, to compare me now to then, by mostly "civilian" provider's to assist with US DVA Ratings, etc... as some, of it I simply cannot do anymore.... like "complex" math, etc.....

WRIISC Washington, DC asked me about some of this, but as far as I can tell just took a "courtsey" look at it all.... and did nothing as in-depth as other's external to US DVA did. I also sent some above SHARE Staff in Atlanta Georgia, but not sure "understood" the significance behind it all??????

Anyway, it alll goes towards evidence, in building a Very "Strong Case" with the uS DVA and other's..... hope this helps you Darby009 and numerous other's out there.....

Darby009- as I told Tony 292 at (http://pebforum.com/threads/help-to-stop-drinking.43113/ ) the below- also remember you do not have to be a Doctor, Psychologist, or Psycharist, etc.. to "read" the same things they read and utilize to "diagnose" or "rate" US ALL! You can do the same, as they do, and it often helps, even if do not understand something fully, to "generate" questions to ask them about your conditions- this as opposed to playing "doctor" yourself but with the US DVA one is kind of "forced" to.....

You can also also ask ton's of the same questions' here of the Super Moderators, etc....and other places for good "second" and even "third" opinions.......

What is the famous saying "I Thinks, Therefore I Am....???"" a lot of folks forget this sadly......

Darby009- the above clips from USMA/RNGR School, are simply example's I posted, (just happened to very accidentally coincide something talking Team Ledear at SHARE in Atlanta Georgia abou, as showed me pool/gym Shepherd Center and reminded me of USMA IOCT, etc... and tried to explain it to them- and told them ought be "video" now!!!!!!) as anyone can in fact present evidence to the US DVA- and or other's, from their past demonstrating what they could do prior to any "injury" and what they now cannot or can do to perhaps "limited" ability after or "post" injury!"

For example, if great "athlete" high school or college, or even straight "A" or "B/C" student- then Yearbooks, news paper article's, letter's "friends-family," photo's (in this day in age IPhone, etc...video clips) etc.... can in fact be utilized, for this purpose!

For instance, as I think have mentioned in other post's, had Vietnam Vet friend, and his unit has a website, on this website everything he ever told me he did in Vietnam, was in fact true and then some!!!! I sent it on his behalf to other folks to utilize...... in hopefully getting him the "rating's" he more than deserved from US DVA- after US DVA folks told him could not claim he was in places during Vietnam, he and a whole lot of other's were!!!!!!

Darby009- could not help but, notice under profile "been around six months" but only 5-Post's under this "user name" do you perhaps have another user-name prior to this, one as I have noticed some other's have had as well?

Like I said out of sheer curiosity, would simply like to know if MH "conditions" listed were 'Combat Related" and if in fact incurred any other injuries such as TBI, etc... in Combat in either Iraq or Afghanistan, or else in the never ending "global War on Terror!"

Honorable, Mr. Perry, was wondering about the Department of State folks, who can utilize US DVA- in addition whole lot of things/ "fringe" benefits, and TDRL, etc... as was in a US DVA PTSD Program up near Carlisle Barracks PA, and there was US Veteran- not only in PTSD Program but in the "Drug-Alcohol Track," as well, because of being on "Administrative Leave" from supposedly, US Department of State Security Detachment, for "drug-abuse?"

Hope clarifies my "mere" curiosity????? Also, am aware, you have represented VET's with the US DVA, as well, and perhaps might have represented some US Dept. of State Personnel or US Merchant Seamen as well and hence may be "knowledgeable" on this topic?

Just a quick comment on US DVA- just found out today that the US DVA in fact does not, test medications for tampering etc... which is odd considering how many "open" packaged have recieved via Us Postal Service (USPS)- alone. One would simply think, this would be logical for US DVA to do in order protect it's veterans as well as itself-legally- humph???? IAW Us Code Title 16, Section 1702, it supposedly is "up five years imprisonment or $2000-dollar fine or both for any person tampering with or obstructing the delivery of"....mail! "Just a quick comment on US DVA- just found out today that the US DVA in fact does not, test medications for tampering etc... which is odd considering how many "open" packaged have received via Us Postal Service (USPS)- alone. One would simply think, this would be logical for US DVA to do in order protect it's veterans as well as itself-legally- humph???? IAW Us Code Title 16, Section 1702, it supposedly is "up five years imprisonment or $2000-dollar fine or both for any person tampering with or obstructing the delivery of"....mail!"

Well, see attached "presentation" of "open mail" I received just today from an Amazon.com Vendor by the US Postal Service- good thing not US DVA Medications or Express Scripts medications.....LOL,LOL,LOL?????? Have only contacted USPS, USPS OIG, and numerous other's this issue and yet nothing changes.....TRAGIC!!!!!!

Perhaps other's experiencing this issue will have better LUCK......???????

Only, told them this as well WRIISC Washington, DC…too no avail! (now been just “recently” diagnosed numerous “chemical” allergies, and was near one of “biggest” Burn Pits in Iraq [LSA Anaconda Vic Balad Iraq]… told them that as well WRIISC-to yet again no avail…, as well as Fibroymalgia) - "thanks to "fighting" for and getting my TRICARE back, with GREAT help from "attorney's"!!!!" (Bold Red added for purposes this post)

Also, articles, on Caregiver Program Expansion, which, did nothing but turn into “harassment” by Gulf Coast VA for myself and my mother…..as well as Articles on US DVA now paying “civilian” ER Visit’s as well as “Pet Therapy!”

Also, article on “US German POW Camp” Normandy, and do not know if many know, but my “grandfather” had German POW’s work his “lumber business” up near Montgomery AL during WWII…LOL, LOL, LOL!!!

Odd, though, entire 1-page add to “visit” beaches etc… this area/ region…..???????? Surprised, did not mention the “awesome” services at by local American Legion at Bay Hass Building, in Mobile AL, that (Gulf Coast VA OEF/OIF Rep.) sent me to supposedly for “HELP” numerous issues, which received none other than scorn and jealously….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is funny, as at SHARE In Atlanta Georgia, reiterated (see post's), how things such as "news" articles, even music, and movies, etc... can in fact bring back long forgotten memories.......

Especially, if one looks up things in movies, songs etc... Like in latest movie by "DC Comics" - "Justice League," where the "arch-villain" is "Steppenwolf" or IAW Wikipedia "wolf-of the steppe" in German or a novel by Hermann Hesse published in 1927- about the "psychology" of "inner-peace," etc.... see Wikipedia at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steppenwolf_(novel) ! It is also name of 1960's Rock Band...and wonder why, no song's integrated into movie- "sound-track", or if were missed them....??????

So, Darby009- if MH Conditions' are all you in fact have incurred, consider yourself quite lucky, especially if incurred in "Combat" in the never ending "Global War On Terror" and would encourage you to start "keeping" a journal, of issue's you may be having both personally and else-where, especially if end up a "GUEST" of your local "State" or the US Federal Government.. as can greatly assist you (perhaps) and you providers, etc.....

Thanks and hope this may assist you Darby009 and other's as well..... (you know I have "significantly/ greatly" encouraged other's to try and tell their "Stories" with US DVA, etc...as that is the only way, folks, in particular the USA, will ever understand the true US Veteran experience- such as it is, in the US of A Today! (And sadly, there are "countless" tragic stories out there, that need to be told!!!!!!)

Interesting, that on page 15 of MHG_English.pdf or "Guide to VA MentAl HeAltH SerViceS for Veterans & Families" it states "Even though these mental health problems do not occur as often as substance abuse, PTSD, and depression, they can be especially disabling."

So, given the above, why is it that so many veterans are in fact diagnosed "Bi-polar" which can mimic PTSD, or "schizo-disorder's and/or "personality" disorders, or affected by "highly-adverse" reactions psycho-tropic" medications (first check MH Providers Supposed to Make)? Simply for others to ponder?????

Darby009- did you perhaps change you user name to "138MISFIT" as some PEB Forum members do? Just Curious as nevr replied anything here...????

Also, maybe not always correct, but have found the US Armed Services... in BIGGER Picture, espically when comes to "training for the fight" in fact do a whole lot right and with valid and often countless salient "historical" reason's behind them such as.....

This is vital task's as goes back to surviving a "torpedoed" troop ship aka WWI/WWII etc... or "destroyed" landing craft, etc.....

Something I think all should remember, and possibly listen to when the US Armed Senior Service "experts" speak on matter's such as "training and or readiness of the next fight" to the American Public, etc...
