New Finding in today!!!

Congratulations! I hope all goes well for you in retirement.

Thanks Jason for the feedback on my updated NMA it really proved to help my case. Maybe you could answer another question. On my separation counseling sheet it says that if I accept these findings the approximate retirement pay is estimated at 75% of my base pay while on PDRL. Now i thought that i would only be eligible for 30% or the same amount I was rated unfit. Do you think this is just a standard blurb they forgot to take out?

I don't know why they would have stated that figure. The only three possible calculations are 1) the percentage awarder, 2) for those on TDRL, the minimum 50% rating, or 3) the length of service calculation, which is 2.5% times years of service. So, it seems there was some error or confusion regarding that 75% figure. The only other thing I can think of is maybe they meant to convey that the maximum payout possible under the law is 75% times retired base pay. Maybe you should clarify with the PEBLO.
