I am at the 8 month mark as well I have contact them every 4 months. Last email stated still in the collection process. Here is the email address to contact the PDRB [email protected] make sure you include name and case number in the subject line. Rememer you are not alone we are all in the hurry up and wait process of the PDRB.

What or where in the forums do I find a step by step process? I received a docket number last year but I don’t know what to do from here. I have looked on the “list” but do not understand how to find my date. Please help!

I don’t think it shows until ur complete? I’m not sure. It seems when i look it up, only completed ones are there. I could be wrong tho. I’ve only checked here. I’m not sure if there is another place to check

Unfortunately you are correct DMLaw. The only files you will see in the site you posted will be the completed ones. As for your question Gundock.. the file number you were given is the one you are looking for ..by year that you submitted. If you cant see you file number in there then its not done yet.

I sent my package in Jun 17 and I have not get any confirmation if they receive my package or not. Can anyone tell me the next step after mailing the package should I get confirmation letter saying they got my application?

Thanks

Edna,

You can email the PDBR and see if they have received it and they will give you your file number. Email them every 6 months to see where your claim is. They gather your medical records and put everything together to go to the board for review. They make a determination and once that gets finalized it is sent to your branch’s Secretary for approval. It is about a 2 year process. In the beginning it moves very slowly. That’s why I say email them every 6 months. And then once it leaves the PDBR to your service then they cannot track it any longer. You’ll need to follow up with your branch if you don’t receive notification of the decision.

Thank you for the Swift response. I just found out my VA rating was increased from 10 to 40 by the VA. Any chance of back payment if PDBR increases original 10% rating from VA
