I'm so sorry that the outcome wasn't in your favor. I really feel bad for you.Unfortunately I did not get the same great news, however I’m just glad this is all over. Congratulations on your retirement, I was discharged with 0% but the board increased it to 10% so wondering if I will be receiving some kind of funds.
my outcome doesn't really change much for me as my husband was active duty for 20+ years and retired last year. all this does for me is gives me s blue ID card instead of brown dependent one. and probably a bill for the severance pay I've already paid back.
From what I'm aware, VA is totally separate from DOD. So, I don't believe there will be a change. I'm sorry you're result wasn't higher.I havent got my packet yet but did hear from the board that they did change my rating from 10% but not to the point of permanent retirement, so I am guessing to 20%. I was wondering will the VA also change my rating to 20% as it is 10% now? If so I would be at 30% which means I would start getting paid for my dependents. Does anyone know if that how it works on the VA side and if so does that change become effective on the date of separation or from the PDBR date?
