Shocked and amazed

So first a little bit of my story. I've been in for about 5 years, a couple deployments. Got hurt and had surgery in 2007 and was given a P2 profile preventing me from doing push-ups and pull ups. Had another surgery for the same thing in 2009, same profile issued. Last year was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, no profiles issued, no limitations on my duties. A couple years ago I started seeing some bumps on my hands and in December '09 I was diagnosed with Psoriasis and was told I needed to reclass and was given a P3 profile. I went on another deployment and when I got back they started the MAR2 process. I was just told my MAR2 packet to reclass was denied and I'll have to go through MEB/PEB instead.

I can't believe that HRC thinks I need an MEB, my condition is not that serious. My profile only prevents me from getting my hands wet and handling food which prevents me from performing my current duties as a cook (92G). There is still many things I can do for the Army but it seems they are not interested in retaining me.

I don't think they will find me unfit as several other doctors and specialists thought me to be retainable. It seems like to me that they are trying to kick people out with any physical issues at all. It only took HRC 2 days to deny my packet which seemed really fast to me.

What makes me mad is that there is no justice in all this. I have medical conditions which, in my opinion do not greatly limit my performance. They found it in their interest to deploy me several times all the while with these same conditions but when I try to take care of my own medical needs and try to protect my health, they deny me reclassification and now want to separate me. Meanwhile I serve with soldiers and NCOs that have a profile that restricts them from doing any event on the APFT but walk, limits their ability to stand for extended lengths of time and they get to stay, or more accurately they are not recommended for MED/PEB.

So my question is, I know that MEB does not mean a medical discharge but the message that HRC sent to the retention guy stated "process soldier for MEB/PEB for medical separation", so do you think I have a chance to stay or have they made up their mind already? Should I start going to sick call for all the stuff I've been ignoring to get it documented? Will I have any say in how this MEB goes down? Finally will they re-assign me to a WTU?
