thank you both for your responses.
i guess you could say there are no specific concerns that me or my husband have at this time - we just know nothing about it, so he's going into it blind. we understand that his lawyer will be speaking to us a little more in detail about it, but his FPEB is may 8th and his lawyer emailed us yesterday to let us know that he would be calling to speak with my husband about the thing more in depth around may 2nd.
my husband also will not be going to the FPEB in person, due to being unable to travel [both driving and sitting in a car] for more than an hour or so, and the trip to DC is 4-6 hours, depending on traffic. he just cannot do it, and the lawyer seems to be fine with that because of his "clear speaking abilities" - whatever that means
my husband is just nervous at this time, and i will admit that i am as well. when referred to the MEB, he had a finding of FIT and contested it; he obviously wants to be found UNFIT because the migraines are just too much to handle after dealing with them for seven years now. the added stressors of the military do not help, as i am sure everyone here can relate.
we really appreciate the input on what it was like. i have heard so many different stories, so i figured i would ask here on the site as well. our lawyer is incredible, so i have no doubt that he will be able to walk us through - but since that's for another week or so, figured i would ask those that were standing in the shoes of someone who actually went up for the FPEB.
so, you do not find out FIT/UNFIT that day, i am guessing? i am hearing that you do.
