I'm waiting on everything from them. I can't give an accurate timeline, because I wasn't told when my packet was sent to their PEB. Feb 23, the PEB requested VA ratings.Anyone waiting on 199 from Joint Base San Antonio-Ft Sam Houston ? Let's post some timelines here.

No, 5.5 weeks after VA sent ratings back to PEBIs that 5.5 weeks from when it was sent off to the IPEB originally?

VA took 2 weeks to do the ratingsI just saw in another post you said it took 2 weeks for unfit memo. So how long did VA take to do ratings? So at this point it took 6 weeks plus how long the VA took?

Yeah, I was flying until the 199 phase. Now I am hoping to get the separation orders quick. I saw someone was waiting 6 weeks for separation orders....That's not to bad after seeing some others horrible long timelines. 2 and a half months from PEB to 199 is decent. I am hoping mine goes at least that fast also. My packet will be off to the IPEB at JBSA from Polk hopefully by Mid April, which if I move at your rate then Mid June finish off and be gone after a bitter sweet 13 years.

Sorry Darkfeather, such incompetence. I am at the point now that I don't even want to appeal my DoD % and just get on with my life. I am happy with my VA rating, so I would sit in the Army for another 4 months to try and get Tricare. My wife complains all the time about having to get referrals to see the doctor she wants, almost want to get back on Blue Cross Blue shield...Congrats Merica..... I am still waiting at 69 days now..... I Sent PEBLO yet another email yesterday asking WTF (little more eloquent than that) His reply was that the PEB is working cases as fast as they can and he has no update for me. When I replied with "Would you accept that answer if our roles were reversed?" he quickly sent an email requesting an update to the PEB at the Pentagon..... of course they have not replied
I feel the same way about fighting for DOD. When I first started, my goal was to get Tricare so the family would still be insured. My PEBLO told me that I will most likely get 20% for my back, which reading through the forum added to that. I tried fighting my unfit conditions when I got my Narsum and wasted 2 weeks.Sorry Darkfeather, such incompetence. I tried to dispute 2 of my conditions that were found "meets retention" by the MEB, but it was a no-go. I feel as if the one unfit condition isn't going to get me to 30%. Plus I have a job offer that I want to take and appealing will risk my job.I felt the same way as ya'll. I just wanted to be done, but the difference between 20 and 30 was huge...the safety net of the benefits that retirement can give was huge. I decided to appeal and in my situation it paid off. However, now I am SO frustrated because my appeal has been back for TWO weeks just sitting at the PEB waiting for them to change ONE number and then send on to HRC. Apparently this can take 15 days or more, which seems ludicrous for such an easy thing. Maybe its more involved than what I'm saying, but I don't see how. Anyways, my point is....despite all the frustration and more waiting, I'm glad I appealed for higher. I had told myself I was just going to take whatever they gave straight off, but the pros outweighed the cons for me. Good luck to ya'll! Hope your stuff comes quickly!
Totally makes sense. I had the same problem with the unfitting conditions too on my last medboard and didn't work either.
