Active duty USAF 6ish years. Diagnosed with PPD,MDD,bicep tendonitis, ac joint arthritis, double knee "arthritis", and diverticulitis.

8 Feb: Code 37
29 March: IRILO submitted, the NARSUMs and commanders letter where started early march.
22 April: AFPC recommendes full MEB and IPEB.

Hopefully I can get my C&P appointments quick. Everybody up here seems to be having good luck. My peblo is gone until june so I'm trying to work with the people who are filling in for her, hopefully it goes well.

Good luck with the process.

Mike

Have you met with the VA person yet?

Luckily your PEBLO doesn't do the C&P its the VA military services coordinator.

I met with my new peblo yesterday. She's new new so I don't think she's ever actually done an MEB. Hopefully everything goes right, most of the answers I got were from the packets she gave me. I asked when I should get my C&P appointments and I got "up to 50 days" so we well see. The other 3 people in my shop going through an MEB said I should get a call in a weekish if they actually submitted anything.

Well the PEBLO doesn't set up the C&P appointments. The PEBLO sets up your appointment with your VA MSC (Military Services Coordinator).

You'll sit down with the MSC, do your initial package, then he/she will set up the C&P exams.

Still nothing new, we haven't had a real PEBLO in over a month so hopefully once we get one I can try to get back on track.

Have you met with the VA MSC yet? If so, there may be a plan to start late but remain on time.

Nop

Nope. I've been trying to get a hold of my PEBLO for about a month

At my base, we have a VA MSC in the building (actually in the office next to) the PEBLO. See if you can find where the MSC for your location is, and then try to get set up with your VA Stuff. You might be able to get some of the stuff done in advance and then when your peblo actually appears, you'll not be as far behind.

That's a good idea. I'll call the VA up here and see if they can help

You could try to use your chain of command or the patient advocate.

Prepare a list of all conditions you would like to be considered. It doesn't just have to be your referred conditions.

Good luck.

My peblo sent me the form so I could have it ready. It looks like I should have 18ish conditions.
If you think your service had any effect on your health, put it on the list. I had 28 conditions on mine.
