I also called DFAS back today. I was told that there aren't any notes in my account since September 19th. I called today since it was the 61st day since they received my packet. They confirmed that they received everything on August 11th. The first rep I spoke with today stated that they have 30-60 days to complete account creation, but he did not have any response when I told him that today was day 61 since they received my packet. Actually no response. Just didn't say a word.
After reading everyone else's experiences, and seeing it for myself, I believe that they are delaying and lying on purpose. To what end? I do not have the smallest clue, but it is VERY clear DFAS is being intentionally slow and extremely dishonest.
Some others that seem to be more in the know have stated that the DFAS personnel do not seem to care if a Senator or similar inquires. Would contacting the DoD IG be more effective?

I know that those of us that post here are a small sample size, but it appears that all of us are having similar experiences with DFAS.
Also, I have seen posted here that DFAS has 30 days to complete accounts per the PDBR regulations. I can't seem to find this info anywhere online, and I would love to see the rules written if anyone has a link!
