Fort Lee Timeline for Back issues

yea hopefully it goes quick, I expected to be done roughly around april. I have no plans on taking terminal leave though. So when I am finished I am finished

Have you heard anything yet?

Here's an update:
I am about to hit the two month mark waiting on ratings......

I'm at 61 days on AKO tracker today. I called my PEBLO Friday, and she said "we'll give it another month." WTF.

i am legit at 61 days myself, I heard that it is taking between 3-5 months at the VA Rating phase currently.

Here I am at 3 weeks thinking it’ll be soon ‍

PEBLO had a guy that took 3 months before ratings. This was about 4 weeks ago

Im at 2 weeks so that is depressing.

So I talked with my Peblo this morning and then emailed my MSC. Here is where I stand according to the MSC:

I'd be happy to provide you with an updated status on your claim. As an FYI and general rule, I'd shy away from calling the National Call Center (1800-827-1000) for updates or even relying much on the information on eBenefits. The IDES claims process is unique/specialized and the general claim status information those sources provide to you is not applicable to IDES claims. If you need additional updates, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Currently, your claim is in what we call Ready for Decision or "RFD" status. This means that there has been a preliminary review of your claim and a determination has been made that all needed materials and evidence are on file in order to make a decision and, in your case, complete your Benefit Estimate Letter.

Right now your claim has been waiting in the queue to be rated since 2/7/2019. I have noticed a backlog recently at the Seattle DRAS (VA office where your claim is being processed) and this is supported by the reports I ran to see where your claim is at more specifically.

The VA generally processes its claims in the order in which they are received (prioritizing the older ones first) and right now you have a few ahead of yours. It looks like there are 9 Fort Lee cases pending ratings that are older than your case and approximately 450 overall cases from all MTFs that are older which are pending ratings. That's not to say that all 450 must be processed before yours gets looked at, as cases are assigned to various teams and individuals, but it gives us a rough sense of where you're at.

Fort Lee IDES had a few cases completed last week that had been pending ratings since late January so that gives me hope that we may see something soon. If you'd like, I will annotate your case file so that it's on record that you reached out to inquire about the status.

Does anyone know if the Monday Morning Report breaks down how many IDES cases are completed in a week?

good information keep us updated

UPDATE: 4/11/19 EBenefits changed to preparation for Decision...fingers crossed

You're MSC seemed to be way more helpful than mine. All I got back when I asked for any information was your ratings aren't completed. When they are you're PEBLO will let you know.

My package was submitted to them for ratings on 18 March. My PEBLO told me that as of yesterday afternoon they have assigned ratings and send it back to the Air Force (I went to see her after I had noticed the claim status on va.gov changed to closed). I believe mine was processed through the Providence VA location though. Which I really don't understand the rhyme or reason to that because I am stationed in Washington state.

that's awesome. I really hope to hear something soon myself as my case was referred to IPEB on 15 Mar 19 and then to VA for ratings on 19 Mar 19.

good luck guys

I had a similar email from my MSC. However I was one of fort Lee oldest cases. Been waiting on ratings since January. But a day later after I sent the email, my ratings were done. Now I’m waiting on a 199 as of 19 April.

How did you find out your ratings were done?
