Quick question, So I called the VA this morning and asked them for an update on where they were at with my Proposed ratings for my PEB. They told me there was a status change as of yesterday. that it got moved to the "Decision" portions of the "Evidence gathering, review and decision". Does anyone have any insight on a timeline on when the VA with be done with the ratings?

Wondering the same thing here. What number did you call? I’ve been waiting for over 70 days.

I CALLED (800) 827-1000. tell the automated system your calling for a claims status and they'll transfer you.. sometimes you'll get a VA rep that actually goes into detail, or you'll get one who just reads what you already know. so try to ask specifically what you wanna know.

I'm hoping some one on this thread might be able to help me, my claim was started December,19th last year. I checked Friday last week on the va.gov it was finally moved into the prep for notifications. I looked today and it's back into the gathering info part AGAIN. I called that 1800 number spoke with a very nice man named Danny, I asked him what is going on. He couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me much except that they mailed me a letter today explaining what's going on, he said that some of my claim has been finished (hence the latter they sent today) and other parts of my claim need more reviewing and he WOULDNT tell me anything more because I haven't received my letter they sent out today, but when I get the letter they sent today they will be happy to go over any thing I need, so my question I guess would be, is this letter they sent out today going to be something bad? Is that why they won't tell me? He said he can see the letter they sent on his screen but can't talk about it? I'm very concerned now about my whole claim. Anybody please give me your 2cents I really am confused now more then ever.

May I ask when your case went to the VA for ratings?

I did my claim dec 19 208 how ever I just received in the mail to day a letter from the ba n my claim, well on only ONE of my claim. They raised me from %40 to %60 only for my back, my other 4 claims have all been deferd. But I was given quite the surprise, back in 2008 I some how was raised to a %50 rating with out knowing but have only been getting paid at %40 so looking in my bank account they deposited $32k on the 10th of May. Not sure how that happens but I'm still left in limbo on my other 4claims hope to hear soon

Check ebenefits my ebenefits account changed before the other site , it changed to decision approval but it took like 3 weeks from the day they got my claim to giving the proposed ratings , they officially sent them back to the PEB Monday May 13th 2019, eventually my claim said it had been closed on the VA.gov claim status section and a second claim was still open, so I kept calling and calling the VA until someone who know their job really good could tell me what was going on. Honestly keep calling until you get someone who can help you most of them only know the basics but some will tell you exactly where your package is at, good luck if you have any other questions let me know.
My timeline incase it helps someone:
Dec 17th: placed on med board
Jan 10th: c&p exams
Feb 26th: sent my package to Va
March 26th: VA claim status changed to received claim
April 26th: claim closed, decision letter sent (I never got the letter)
May 13th: proposed ratings sent back to PEB and still waiting for the rest, sorry for the huge message just thought it might answer some of yall questions

I just got off the phone with the VA. I must have gotten lucky because I spoke with a representative there that told me that my claim has been moved to the decision phase with proposed ratings as of May 16.

Does this mean that the VA has sent the proposed ratings back to the PEB?
And it takes the PEB 2-3 weeks to then send the packet back to my PEBLO?

Awesome hopefully you will get your ratings soon. Question though when did the Va get your package for PEB how long have they had it?

My PEBLO told me it takes 20-30 days for you to receive the call to go sign your findings, at least that's for Marine corps and camp lejuene

I hope so too! My Package was sent to the VA on March 25, 2019 and assuming the VA sent my packet back to the PEB the day they assigned the ratings; the PEB should have received my packet on May 16, 2019. SO 53 days

Ah great.. I am a Marine at Camp Lejeune and I have honestly received more information on this forum than from my PEBLO..

Has anyone been able to get ahold of the PEB office? I've called multiple times and have not been able to talk to anyone over there

Yep that's the usual spill unfortunately getting them on the phone is really like playing the lottery. When they finally picked up one day for me I was shocked because I had been calling for 2 weeks straight.

Where can I check the status of my claim on ebenefit? I only know how to check the status of my claim on va.gov. Please help

Go to ebenefits and login and click on disabilities and then click on whichever disability and click view here( it doesn't matter which one you click the status will be the same for all of them) then whenever you click view here you'll be able to look at which step it's at, from my experience ebenefits has updated first and faster than the new VA.gov one

once the VA sends their proposed ratings to the PEB you can actually call the VA at that point and they're allowed to tell you what that proposed rating is. I just did it two days ago. FYI

When I tried that they wouldn't tell me over the phone they said they could fax it to me though
