Fort Lee Timeline for Back issues

Now I don't know where I stand....VA.gov says closed, Ebennys just went to reviewing evidence, and my PEBLO says that she cant see anything other than pending VA decision.
When mines did that I called the next day and they had my proposed rating from va. But from what I read from some people, sometimes your peblo don’t want to tell you. Ask your msc if your peblo won’t tell you tomorrow... when it ebennys does that it won’t change until it becomes “official “ and you’re out...

What does VA.gov show for your claim?

Status: Evidence gathering, review, and decision

Now I don't know where I stand....VA.gov says closed, Ebennys just went to reviewing evidence, and my PEBLO says that she cant see anything other than pending VA decision.

This is what happens.....when you initially filed your claim, that date (which in your case was late last year) will show on VA.gov with all your claims, however, when you complete your C&P exams, NARSUM and IPEB, you will notice that a few claims were either added or dropped at the discretion of your examiner based on your exams and/or medical records. When PEB sends your new claims to VA, a new date for that new claim will be created, and when the VA is done rating your new claims, that is the date that closes on VA.gov and your first initial claims will still be open either on review or gathering of evidence, review and decision status (because those claims were not rated due to the facts that either some claims were added or removed in your new claim). I hope this makes sense.

Bottom line: Don't worry about it. Your case is closed. You can also call the VA hotline to confirm your status.

Typically if not mistaken this means they have decided on your proposed ratings and your ratings will be sent to the PEB. The second case remains open until you leave active duty and upload your DD214

How long did it take to move your case from Preparation of decision to Pending decision approval? My case on ebenefits says it is on prep for decision. Thank you.

It took my about 2 months 64 days
Yea I agree I think that means your proposed ratings are done and may I ask how many total claims you had (number wise) Ill be 60 days on the 26 may just wondering because we have similar wait times... Currently been sitting prep for decision since apr 11 but theVA has had my package since 26 Mar.

I have 13 all together.
Cool I have 57 lol, I am praying number of claims doesn't affect my timeline tremendously. But I honestly think your proposed rating are headed back to PEB for QA or finalization then it will go to your peblo and you. Good Luck

Will I start getting my VA Benefits when I'm on terminal leave. Are after? Thanks
From what I understand you will not receive anything until you are officially out of the army and you uploaded your dd214 and they finish processing your claim

My case has been at PEB since May16 how long it usually takes to get DA199?

Is there any way to get hold of peb it is getting too much
I feel your pain I haven't been waiting as long as you but close 26 march the number is 202 685 6422 they haven't been really answering lately due to being backlogged due to broad member transfers and system issues so I've heard, but I wouldn't let that stop me from calling. Good luck hope you get answers on your case.

So I got my Va letter today which states on several claims that : ''while your service treatment records reflect complaints, treatment,or a diagnosis similar to that claimed, the medical evidence supports the evidence supports the conclusion that a persistent disability was not present in service or demonstrated on Va pre-discharge examination. The evidence does not show a current diagnosed disability. Therefore, service connection is not proposed.

Favorable findings identified in decision:

Diagnosed with contracture of muscle, right thigh on December 12,2017.''

same thing is for my other leg and the toe that is broken and causes pain - is it worth appealing or not? and if I appeal how long it is going to push my separation?
