PEB results and ratings for your review

I am uploading what I received by the PEB for others to review, it may help in others to think of what to claim, find out how ratings are determined and how higher ratings are rejected. It may be a powerful tool for others...

Please as I am doing this for you, alert me to potential personal information I missed. I am doing this for you so help me stay safe. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing! I would love to see others as well.

This is a great reference!! Thank you for sharing this. It confirms my thoughts on how specific I should be when I go in to meet with my rep. For your shoulders, did you give them each diagnosis from your doctor (laberal tear, etc) or did you just say shoulder pain and they pulled the rest of the data?

I was referred for "should pain and surgical debridement with no progression" so a shoulder (upper extremity) DBQ was prepared. They ask about my history and cause and such, that is when I talked about the surgery, PT not helping and continuous pain in my shoulder to my hand, that triggered all my fingers getting rated which I didn't even think to claim. But I stressed that I have pain in any motion and showed them my physical limits of motion. Then the Doctor used the goniometer to measure my angles of motion.

REMEMBER TO ALWAYS DESCRIBE YOUR WORST DAYS, not how you feel on that day. Many people go in and try to do their "best" - no you need to be at your worst! Compensation is for you at your limitations, not at what you want to try to prove that you can do.

Solid advice, thanks for sharing your documents with us!

I have a question for you. On your findings form on line 7 up top.
"7. 10 USC 1208 SERVICE = 18.93"

Is that your TAFMS from vMPF or is that a calculation based on your PCARS points for retirement ?

Thanks,

That was the TAFMS and PCARS all my days are Active Duty (I was prior service AD, palace chased to AGR ANG). For all intent and purpose I am active duty straight through.

That time was entered by the IPEB and was accurate to the date.

Got it. I'm a combination of all statuses. Total retirement points are above 17. TAFMS doesn't show that but PCARS does. That's why i was asking how they calculated it

TAFMS doesn't updated automated until your R/R date (at least in the ANG). In my my vMPF and other systems it only updates in May for me, when I went into DEP. The MEB paperwork was all correct though.
