My Timeline so far...

Mine hasn’t moved since aug 6. It’s just been sitting at Evidence gathering, review, and decision...which is before it was sent to AF IPEB(Aug28). peblo knows nothing. My msc knows nothing. Super frustrating!! I’m just imagining it getting stuck in the sorter, like snailmail does. Yes, I know that it’s all electronic now. :D

yea I’ve heard VA is pretty good aboutgetting it done and back to the PEB but once it’s at the PEB it’s been taking a while. How long has yours been back at the PEB?
9 October it was given to them from the VA. I have no idea how long this is gonna take, plus Peblo sucks. and their gonna take their time.

Is there a number to VA DRAS to check the status?
Actually there is 401-223-3700. Got the truth yesterday. If the peblo's look at place, this then she can pretty much identify me. And I don't know who to blame her or the MSC... Found out the truth.

PEB lied to me saying they sent it out on the 23rd, really they waited to gather a bunch of them up and sent them out at the end of the month on the 30th of Sept. Doesn't help with the VA back log when you dump a whole months worth in. VA received my case on the 30th of Sept.

VA closed my case which is why I thought they sent it back, the VA rep I talked to was wrong who gave me that assumption. They closed my case cause they thought I was discharged and moved my file elsewhere. Turns out the peblo or MSC didn't upload my extension (my EAS was Sept 1 2019 but was extended to 2020 cause of the medboard) into some system, so the VA moved me to the already discharged pile and was going to wait till they got a DD-214 to release my ratings with no word to anyone or notes to the file.

Good thing I called, that got sorted out, cause when I called the peblo she told me everything was fine and I needed to wait, until I told her I called the VA and they said I wasn't in IDES anymore. Cause I went around the system and fixed it which probably would have taken months, a nasty gram went out...

So now I'm back to being processed at the VA for ratings as a IDES member, adding 17 days in the process. to which I'm 90 days extra already in the process. pretty sure there's a single point of failure here.

wow that really sucks. Sorry to hear that. I just looked and my case actually just closed late today when i looked at 17:00. Hopefully that means it’s going back to PEB.

Sorry, been in field for past week. Yes, I called the PEB and they told me they had sent it that day.

Tried calling PEB Today and apparently they aren’t accepting calls to check status anymore and told me to call my Peblo. Contacted my Peblo and he was able to see a lot more than what he did before. He shared with me my proposed ratings and told me to call him back in 2 weeks if i dont hear from him before that. Hopefully within 2 weeks i have everything back ready to sign before thanksgiving.

Congratulations! Did you receive the ratings you wanted/expected?

At this point, I am doubling the estimated time that they quote. PEB is supposed to be 90-120 day. Really means 6-8 months.
