Need help on timeline

I need some help from some PEB vets.. My timeline is as follows:
Late Sep-NARSUM & C&Ps completed
18 Nov19-PEB submitted
19Dec19-VA finished ratings, back at PEB
03Jan20- Package with QA for final look over
11Feb20- No update

Roughly 15 items claimed.

My issue is i found a wonderful job that is supposed to start march 2nd. I have 30 days of terminal, but i just need my package back. 90% VA rating and found unfit, but no official word. Do you think this is enough time to get my package back and get my new EAOS? My PEBLO is trash and I have to drag updates out of him and hound him for any response. I'm out of Camp Pendelton and I called QA a few weeks ago, but they're never helpful and always grumpy. Does anyone have any insight as to whether I can make my start date or not? Also, I have heard rumors about having a case expedited for the start of a new job or school, but can't find anything. Realistically I am desperate and and need to get out of the Navy as fast as (legally) possible. Thannk you in advance
 
Get someone involved. IG has 24-48 hours to resolve your issue. I got a deputy commander involved in my case and signed signed my 618 form. PEBLO is upset but that’s what happens when you have no one to advocate for yourself. God is listening too. Pray about it

How long after you got the Deputy involved did it resolve the issue? What phase were you in when you got them involved? I don't wanna cause a bunch of waves right at the end of my career, but I also know how incompetent people in the military can be and how little concern they have for the lives of others.
** also my one case has been closed on VA.gov since November 28th.
 
I spoke to the 2 star general on Thursday and finally signed my package yesterday. I just called PEBLO to confirm my package was routed to AFPC and it was routed yesterday right after I signed my package. The first shirt and my supervisor showed up to PEBLO when i signed and everything because the deputy commander wants to stay involved in my case.
Believe me, sometimes you need to be a squeaky wheel and well, squeak squeak. People in my squadron don’t care for me. They don’t want the best for anyone here in hickam, it’s awful. And luckily, I spoke to the right person at the right time. I’m services and was really upset on Thursday. I prayed so hard for God to send me someone or something to help me get this done and what are the odds Friday morning this man approaches me and asks what’s wrong. I started pouring all of my worry and problems to this man and had no idea who he was. He was the deputy commander for PACAF. He’s a 2 star general and now wants updates on my case to make sure this happens and works in my favor.

advocate for yourself, pray and be a squeaky wheel. It will get you far.

Spoke with my chief and he called. PEBLO said he hadn't heard from me in weeks. Just called him on Monday and have been calling every week and showed my Chief the call logs. PEBLO said it should be done this week. Spoke with a Gunny at PEB and he said that my package was still in que at the QA phase. PEBLO is wildly incompetent and has only given bad info. Any advice? My chief doesn't want to escalate things to my triad yet until my PEBLO has a chance to resolve it, but i'm running out of options and time and an IG complaint can take up to 90 days.
 
At this point you just have to be patient and bite the bullet if you miss the job opportunity. That's why you shouldnt make any plans until you've got your date set to be out. It can literally take the PEB 30-60 days to finish there portion after the VA and that's just an estimate. Not to mention you still have to wait for orders after the process is over.

I know exactly what you’re going through and how you’re feeling. I’m in the same boat. However, I somehow managed to vent to a 2 star general not knowing (he was in civis) and I finally signed my 618 on Monday and it was routed. He’s still advocating for me and calling on my behalf to make sure this gets done. I tried over and over and over again to make sure they would help me but they (PEBLO) kept ignoring me and became upset that I was constantly on them, so God truly sent me an angel because this man has stuck by my side and will continue to want updates regarding my separation.
Praying for you friend. Take matters where they need to go if you aren’t helped. Always advocate for yourself, no matter what extreme you take
 
I had a simular problem with getting my PEBLO to respond. Eventually the only way I got a response was to submit an ICE complaint (which is seen outside of their department) and request that someone follows up on it. I received a call from my PEBLO within 24 hours and their supervisor. By submitting the complaint hopefully it puts it on the radar outside of the medical board office that the department is not functioning. The website for an ICE complaint is ICE Home.
 
Update for everyone!! Results came back. 10% DOD so i'm gonna request a formal board. I could be out in time for my new job, but definitely not now and i'm not letting the Navy/VA pull one over on me and deny me my commissary privileges lol. Thank you everyone for help!

How long did you wait for ratings? Have you received a V.A. rating yet?

I understand you want the 30% but what if u do a formal board and they find you fit. That's a possibilty right?

Oh no not by any means. There are too many conditions i'm rated for and all of my statements say that i cannot perform my job and m out of rate due to being hurt. In other cases maybe, but i dont think it happens often

But even if the DOD rated you less than 30% you were still rated unfit, so you still separate and get your 90% from the V.A. right? Are you just fighting because you want your retirement?
 
Yup pretty much. I want my commissary privileges lol. And that retirement
 
From what I read, the navy tends to find FIT at FPEB; I would imagine it’s their way of saying don’t waste their time.

I hear ya!!! I’m actually trying to separate as soon as possible so I’m praying I’m found unfit, but don’t mind the low DOD rating. I hate my squadron. It’s so toxic so I’m praying I hear my DOD rating soon, even if it’s less than 30% I’m taking it but not agreeing to severance pay. I’ll accept the V.A. rating instead because I’m not too worried about that one. How did you find out? did you get a call?

That's basically what I've seen especially with a 10% rating. I've read a post where someone received a 20% rating and decided to do formal and they found that person fit. The commissary ain't worth it lol.
