IDES Timeline

My PEBLO did confirm today that the PEB got authorization for more people to help so hopefully things start moving a lot quicker. One guy she works with, who has worked there for years, has never seen it this backed up and has never dealt with this many pissed off people.
Another week down, 142 days for me! Dang, I’m honestly impressed at this point, a few people must have really made some poor decisions for it to get this bad. BRAVOOO

Submitted and received on April 21st so today is 145 days (4 months and 22 days). Looks like the Med Officer got it on the 28th of August and the Presiding Officer got it on the 6th and the Board convened on the 10th of Sep. Maybe that info can help others but I am not sure if it actually means anything.

Congratulations! That gives me some hope. I found out this morning that I was found Unfit as of Friday but was told they could take a little bit to get my findings ready to sign. Submitted April 19th

I’m at 133 days and I’m losing my Effing mind. I really hope I hear back next week.

I know the feeling. I was feeling that itch the past couple of weeks. If you haven't already seen Mental Health or at least a counselor at Fleet and Family, I recommend that you do.

I have seen them. My provider got PCSed and cancelled my appointments because they said I was supposed to have already been out of the Marine Corps by now. It’s a 30-45 day wait just to be seen by them right now where I am.

I feel like that is something that is ICE complaint worthy or even higher. Keep up the good fight.

I’m trying. Ever since I got hurt in the first place I feel like the Marine Corps just turned its back on me. Went from being an outstanding Marine to a broken piece of shit in a matter of months. I’m trying to stay positive but the longer it takes the harder it gets.

Call military onesource.

They can set you up with a counselor so you have someone to talk to. It's non medical counseling but still a great resource. Sometimes as fast as same day but in my experience usually within 4 days. They will put you in contact with a provider and you will speak directly with the provider to set up an appointment.

I’ll reach out to them. Thank you.

So my peblo could look in the system to see if they found me fit or unfit? Before they send my paperwork back?

When did you send your case?
This is the rough timeline
June 18, 2021 : VA exam completed
July 20th Narsum signed
Aug 23 : The PEB found me "unfit" and has forward the case to the disability rating activity site (DRAS) for a rating decision.
Sep 7: VA closed my case, and website says they sent me the decision letter. I should be getting something in 2 weeks. I can see the rating in ebenifits and I am satisfied with the VA increased ratings. Lets see what PEB decides, hopefully accepts VAs rating.
Now as per my PEBLO From 23 August, this phase on average takes 90-120 days to complete. Once the VA completes its part, they will send my VA Decision Letter to me. The VA will also send the ratings back to the PEB for completion of my Informal PEB Proceedings (DA Form 199). Upon receipt of my informal PEB findings, I will be contacted.

So, I dont know what to make of this. I hope I dont have to wait for another 120 days.

I sent my case jun 30 to peb. So she should be able to tell me if they found me fit or unfit right? Because you already know
