I went through IDES when I first enlisted - I got referred to civilian doctor who wrote a nice letter that I’m good to continue. Turns out I got lucky then to continue service but now back at IDES for same thing. My doc retired so no nice letter this time - I anticipate I’m out this time around.Anyone else going through IDES on their first enlistment ?
I literally wasn't even able to finish MOS school cuz ours is so long and I got broke in the process.
I'm on my first enlistment, hitting my 3yr mark in December. It was a terrible mental battle when I started back in august of 2020 with my surgery knowing that it was my last hope to getting my knee back to normal not just for the military but for me. Now I know that theres more than just the military expectations and that my well being comes first. Feel free to pm me, its a tough battle alone.Anyone else going through IDES on their first enlistment ?

I was told by my VSO that it's better to just wait. For anyone on here who has received their ratings but is waiting on their ultimate findings... What are you supposed to do if the VA rated your claims but you have more supporting evidence that would more than likely get you a higher percentage? Is it just a wait until findings to reconsider the rating? Or is there anything I can do at this point to reduce waiting towards the end?

Are you counting weekends? I honestly stopped keeping track but most of the medboard process has been work days.i was wondering same im only 173 and 133 today and i called the medboard office last week one of them told me its taking 6-7 months so expect no later than january which is depressing news since my case was submitted june 2
according to my lawyer they count every day that passes by even when the tracker was exposed she later the next week said my package was 7 days longer every week. Are you counting weekends? I honestly stopped keeping track but most of the medboard process has been work days.
I don’t. My case is based on 4 disqualifying mental health conditions. Is your condition mental or physical if you don’t mind me asking
