my peblo said i have 15 days to sign once it comes back, also if you like what you get you can agree for them to sign for you (if you trust your peblo and talk to your lawyer)If my shit comes back within the next week I'm going to go nuts. Mostly because I'm on leave right now and won't be back off leave for 12 days. I don't want to miss that 10 day window.
Can’t you just sign digitally? I’ve never seen my PEBLO I’ve just done everything through e-mail..my peblo said i have 15 days to sign once it comes back, also if you like what you get you can agree for them to sign for you (if you trust your peblo and talk to your lawyer)
Mine said you can but it seems like Whose Line is it Anyway, where the rules and procedures are made up and they dont care anyway. Can’t you just sign digitally? I’ve never seen my PEBLO I’ve just done everything through e-mail..
115 MO, 160 PEB, 217 since it was sent up, Talked to the PEBLO and said "Yeah man go ahead and be prepared to not hear anything until January." At this point i'm hoping to be out by April when this was all started.
Were you able to get a resolution for this? Curious because I will be doing TERA as well.Any Marine Admin guys/gals on here that know if this means my TERA request was approved or denied?
Kind of confusing that it says "disability discharge approved" but it's under the "retirement information" section in MOL and it gives a date for Ret/FMCR date which suggests retirement right?
Just saw this about 10 minutes ago so I can't call MMSR-4 or CPAC until the morning to figure out what is going on and it's killing me
I called MMSR-4 and they said two different sections work TERA and medical separations. The two sections didn't communicate so the one that does separations gave me an EAS while the other section was processing my TERA request. Today MMSR-4 told me my TERA request was approved and my retirement date is 1 March 2022. MOL should be updated to reflect by mid next week. Were you able to get a resolution for this? Awesome, thanks for the info man. Can I send you a dm? Trying to figure out how soon I can EAS once TERA is approved.I called MMSR-4 and they said two different sections work TERA and medical separations. To do TERA you have to sign your election of options accepting the PEB findings then do a waiver to opt out of the DES so you can do TERA . The waiver and EOO form will be sent to the PEB by your PEBLO and they will forward it to HQMC.
You will need to include your findings, your signed EEO, and your findings from the PEB showing you were found unfit as enclosures for your TERA request.
My MEB lawyer helped with the waiver. It had to be signed by my lawyer, my PEBLO, my CO and myself.
You,ve got to be really proactive with your TERA request. The PEB knew I was requesting TERA because they received a copy of the waiver and MMSR-4 had my TERA REQUEST 4 days before I gave my response to the PEB but I was still given a separation date before TERA request had been processed/approved.
Get with your Lawyer and let them know now that you intend to request TERA. Ask if they can draft the waiver now so ALL it needs is a date an signature from the lawyer and PEBLO as soon as you get your findings.
Ask your PEBLO to sign your EOO form but not route it to the PEB until your command has signed your DES waiver and routed your TERA request to MMSR-4 and make sure your PEBLO sends a copy of your waiver to the PEB when he sends them your election of options.
I had some difficulty getting my TERA request through my command because it was a short timeline and I received my findings between veterans day and Thanksgiving. 15 days was really only 7 working days to get my DES waiver signed and my TERA request routed through my command so it could be submitted to MMSR-4 before or on the same day my response was due to the PEB.
MMSR-4 gave gave me a TERA template that I can share if you need one.
It all went fast. Findings on the 15th. TERA request and response to PEB submitted 29 Nov. My EAS was updated 7 Dec but that was for medsep. I was told today (10 Dec) that my TERA was approved so now I wait for the updated EAS to hit MOL.
Feel free to DM. You request your retirement date in your TERA package. Last day of the month for enlisted and first day of the month for officers. I requested March so I could use all my leave.Awesome, thanks for the info man. Can I send you a dm? Trying to figure out how soon I can EAS once TERA is approved.
Congrats man thanks for the informationRefer to post above
