EAS Updating

Very helpful thanks for that info
Depending on your IPAC they won't let you leave without a two week notice for them to work your outbound though so keep that in mind. Sometimes they're nice and sometimes they're not.

I’m not, I have enough leave days and PTAD to start terminal next week but I did see a thread about emailing MMSR to get it sooner
Can you point me in the right direction for that thread. I recieved a job offer I can turn down and I have 60 days of leave. I am thinking about taking annual leave and wait until my EAS populates while I am on leave. Does anyone know if this will push my EAS out further?

Is this working days or 2 full 7 day weeks if you dont mind me asking.
Sure, its been two week, as in 10 working days.

Update: contacted MMSR 4 after 48 hours of them not answering the phone. They said they have only one person working on updating MCTIFs and it will take as long as it takes. Not acceptable. I contacted my local congressman.

Has anyone gotten an EAS update this week? MMSR said there is a good chance I won't see anything tell after the 4th of July 96. I signed on 5/31.

I just filed an ICE complaint via Marines.mil. I’m done with this backwards branch. FYI anything over 6 weeks separate/retire goes against MARINE CORPS ORDER 1900.16 CH 2 & SECNAVINST (Secretary of the Navy Instruction)1850.4E. “The effective date of retirement/separation because of physical disability (either permanent or temporary) normally shall be within 4-6 weeks, on the average, after issuance of the "Notification of Decision." And that’s just to EAS not for it update in MCTIFS which is now taking 60 days just to get a date. Every single other branch receives their EAS if not 24 hours later but NLT than a week. Unacceptable.

Ya, it is extremely upsetting, I just want to get a date so I can move and get my kids ready for the next school year. At this rate it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

How long did it take y’all take your EAS? I’ve been waiting 2 weeks now.
Question , when you signed your extension. Did they extended from the day you signed or from your EAs ?
I signed my extension last week since my normal EAS is July 8th , I just checked MOL and I got a new EAS august 8, I will check with my S-1 to see if that’s my actual new EAS or my month extension

That sounds like a 30 day extension, normally disability seps are the 2nd from last day of the month.
