So the way you read it you think I would receive my entire retired gross pay, not longevity. My reading seems to define this as my DOD Disability pay in some places. Retired Pay Gross Pay $4,284

Thank you, so basically there are people who don't get all those longevity with CRSC and the Star Act fixes that. So CRSC is capped?

I don't quite get the statement "capped at longevity". Can anyone give me a dumb guy definition and how it applies in this situation? Not sure what the other option besides longevity applies to the Star Act and I've read through everything and I don't get what the argument is. For context...

    CRSC Reconsideration after SMC-S SMC-K 100% P&T

I am going through and auditing my ratings (DOD/VA/CRSC) and I noticed something weird with CRSC. I was first awarded CRSC July 2015 at 90%. When I look at my most recent MyPay CRSC Pay Statement it shows "Combat Related Disability % 100". I assume this means there was some automatic...

    EPTS - Break in Service

During my USMC AD service (1995-1997) I had ACL reconstruction, PEB, honorable discharge. In 2007 I got a waiver and passed MEPS again and joined the ARNG. Re-injured my knee in a blast in Baghdad in 2009. I have several conditions stemming from the blast and all are EPTS - NO; except the...

National Guard, hows the calculation work for us?

Just for anyone else who might be looking for this kind of info, I'll spell out my calculations. Using these historical pay charts: http://www.military.com/benefits/military-pay/charts/historical-military-pay-rates.html 2014/02/8-Years - 4,678.50 (6 months) 2014/02/8-Years - 4,632.30 (12...

National Guard, hows the calculation work for us?

I am not on Active Duty orders though IDES. I assume it was an option, but it's not something I am interested in. I am already receiving VA Pay. Since I will not be on AD orders, does this affect the 36 month pay calculation? My LES says: YRS SVC: 08 GRADE: O2 - I have been an O2 for the past...

National Guard, hows the calculation work for us?

I am just starting the IDES process, but I have already completed the VA side since I am NG and was able to file before my MEB process began. I have already received a 100% scheduler rating from the VA. My RPAS statement says the following: Total Career Points - 1234 Total Pts For Ret Pay -...

Already 100% from the VA, trying to retire from the ARNG, does it matter

Thanks for the input, I went ahead and worked with my state's G1 medical and put in for presumptive LODs for all the other conditions. The only resistance I got was a warning that it may take a long time to process the paperwork and schedule the doctor's visits. I have no problem waiting.

Already 100% from the VA, trying to retire from the ARNG, does it matter

I am currently an M-Day soldier in the Army National Guard with 4 years active time and 4 years drilling. I was rated by the VA as 100% with a future exam in 2019. I just started the retirement process and just completed my Fit For Duty examination. I have several service connected and/or...
