  • I was put on TDRL back in July 2008. I never heard anything from anyone so I contacted Tinker AFB which I contacted them 2 months prior to my 5-year mark. They were able to set up a date for my evaluation. Now I was told I was dropped from Tricare until they determine if I will go to TDRL or not. Any help or advice you could give me? Thanks.
Retired chapter 61 in 1995 at 50%. gross military pay is $952 (high 3 $1904?). Med retired at 8 yrs of service for PTSD. Rated by the VA at 30% (combat related) + 10% + 10% (not combat related) total VA rating=40%. VA waiver is $654.12(self/spouse). I believe my CRSC rating to be 30% ($456.97) and my retirement based on LOS to be $380.80 Do I qualify for any CRSC pay or will it still be at zero? Thank you
I recently enlisted and am in DEP. In the process of putting down 5 jobs i could only find 4 that i was really interested in, so my recruiter told me to put down Fuels, and he hyped it up a lot. so i did for some reason, not thinking about actually getting put into it. but i did. when i asked my recruiter if i could switch he said no. but when i looked online some said its possible. so which is correct
Mr jason good morning I have a really
    Important question

First, I would consider whether your IPEB finding was PDRL or TDRL. If PDRL, the addition of another condition (cancer) would not seem to matter. If it matters, I would ask for a FPEB and fight the issues.
So I recently received my LOD back from NGB and it came back as not in the line of duty- not due to members own misconduct. I developed type-1 diabetes while on active duty in the Air National Guard and my medical squadron did an LOD for me. Well this LOD took about 8 months and I got it back as NILOD. And I have no known family history at all with diabetes. Does this sound right at all?
I received a permanent profile (P2) for sinusitis and awaiting one for my back (involved in a vehicle accident in basic training and 1 in Afghanistan, went to TMC but did not get LOD). My BN Medical Readiness NCO states she will send up paperwork to a PA for P3. I am being told without a LOD for any of my conditions this will turn into a PEB and I will be medically discharged.
Submitted VA claim for Chronic Sinusitis with rhinitis, migraine headaches, sleep apnea rotoscolios. I was approved for service-connected disability for Chronic Sinusitis 30%, migraines 30% and Sleep Apnea 50%. I am currently 80% through VA and pending appeal on my Back. I have two years until I hit my 20 years (had a few bad years).
I was active duty 98-02. In 02 I left active duty for New Mexico National Guard. I joined the Army Reserves from 03-06. I deployed to Afghanistan 05-06. I returned home Joined the NC National Guard 06-08. I deployed a second time with Illinois National Guard. Returned home to New Mexico National Guard and transferred to Texas in 2011.
Hi Jason. I am lost confused and concerned that my case was not accurately reviewed. I was separated with 4 service connected alimentary and one of them being 30% PTSD and when I received my denial from the PDBR there was no mention of 30% PTSD. Also I am currently 100% permanent and total with PTSD. I have so many questions and I am so concerned with my situation
Hi Jason, Thank you for all the information that you have posted and continue to post. I have a few questions for you if you have the time. I have a friend of mine that is being referred to his/her MTF for evaluation following a recent diagnosis. I would like your input on that process, what the likely outcome could be and when to obtain legal council. Thank you in advance for your time and guidance.
    Hello Mr. Perry,

Do you happen to know if eczema is an automatic disqualification for commission into the USPHS? I cannot find their medical accession standards anywhere online.
Hi Jason do you know anyone besides my Peblo who can check the status of my peb findings? Located in the Northeast. Med board through west point. Pm please if there is please. Going on 4-5 weeks in Peb findings stage.
    Mr. Perry,
I too am looking to retain your services for my pending MEB/PEB. If you happen to be inundated with other cases, I could use a recommendation for another attorney that practices in this field. Thank you for creating this forum, as it has been invaluable and comforting for myself and so many traveling through what seem to be uncharted waters.
    Kind regards,
    Good afternoon Mr. Perry,

I was advised to drop you a line to seek guidance on possibly retaining a civilian attorney to get my case back on track. I am absolutely at the end of my rope and I do not know what to do for the next part of my case, please any assistance you could provide would be very welcomed.

Jason, I am new to this forum after just finding out that I am being sent to an MEB/PEB for PTSD I am in need of some help. Can you recommend an attorney in Idaho? I have 17 years of active duty Time and I don't want to risk loosing it all

There are only a handful of attornies nationwide who deal regularly with MEB/PEB cases. I would not limit your search to "local" counsel.
I don't usually recommend folks as it is essentially helping my competitors, but, there is only one attorney other than myself who I know focuses only on MEB/PEB cases. If you would like more info, send me a private message.
