I have been told that due to my schmorls nodes and Degenerative disc disease I will be going through the meb process. I have afew uncertainties and was hoping someone could help. If they send me through the board, can they just discharge me with out any severence or retirement at all? I have never heard of people going back to work with back issues after going through the meb. I would really like to stay in the Air force, does anyone kow if this is true? And if they do find me fit for duty, can they just return me to duty with out any limitations or do they have to give me some? thank you your answers are very much appreciated.
