Mr. Hasberry is the Senior Attorney Advisor, Office of Airmen’s Counsel (CLSA), Community Legal Services Directorate, Air Force Legal Operations Agency (AFLOA), at Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph, Texas. As Senior Attorney Advisor, Mr. Hasberry provides advice and guidance on Disability Evaluation System policies and procedures that have Air Force-wide impact. Mr. Hasberry provides learned continuity and mentorship to help guide the 21 legal professionals in the office as they prepare for hearings, and counsel Airmen on potential outcomes. He is directly responsible for training new disability counsel and paralegals, as well as personally representing Airmen before the Formal Physical Evaluation Board. Mr. Hasberry also oversees the appellate division ensuring quality appeals of DES decisions to the Secretary of the Air Force Personnel Council and Department of Veterans Affairs. As a subject matter expert, Mr. Hasberry is currently participating in a Department of Defense effort to optimize the Disability Evaluation System for all Service Members while ensuring continued access to due process.

Mr. Hasberry was born to the late Technical Sergeant (Retired) Charles Hasberry Sr. and Caroline Hasberry. Following a brief period of college instruction, he enlisted in the United States Air Force as a member of Security Forces in 1994. In 2001, he graduated from Strayer University and was accepted to attend Officer Training School. He worked as a Communications Officer until being accepted into the Excess Leave Program and joining the JAG Corps after attending law school at Howard University School of Law. Mr. Hasberry served on active duty in the Air Force until his retirement in April 2014.
