I hope you hear something soon! This forum has been helpful, my package sat at the PEB for 3 months (Navy). I had to call them for a status check. My VA ratings are done and back at the PEB as of Aug 21 for my DoD ratings. Still waiting....
Thank you for your reply. I have the same thing on my Ebenefits page. When you say separated does this mean the DoD ratings are less than 30% or is this the same this info on Ebenefits could look the same if DoD ratings were 30% or greater? My VA ratings were sent back to DoD and I'm still...
From what it sounds you should be found unfit. I recommend that you talk with your PEBLO to make sure all your conditions are sent to the PEB. A lot of weight is placed on your non-medical NARSUM when the PEB is evaluating your case. I would be surprised if you are found fit and would appeal...
Hello,
If your non-medical NARSUM states you are non deployable , along with your personal statement, I was advised that the PEB will find you unfit. I had excellent FITREPs but my NARSUM and non medical NARSUM stated I was non-deployable. If you have been non-deployable for more than 12...
Thats great news! I'll be interested in knowing how long it takes for your VA ratings. I'm hearing so many different timelines from this forum that I just plan for another two months.
My package was sent to the PEB on April 10th and found out I was unfit by contacting the PEB customer service on June 10th. It took 2 months for my adjudicaton. I found out on June 28th from my PEBLO that is was at the VA. I am on month 9 of this process.
With a LIMDU transfer it has to be in writing by your physician/provider that you need to be transferred i.e.. for medical care or family support so that you can get better. You would have to talk to your Command and let them know your provider has recommended that you be transferred. If your...
If this is your first LIMDU they can keep you at your duty station to continue your care. If you dont have support in your area you can reqeust a LIMDU transfer to be closer to family, a provider has to note this in your medical record.
The purpose of LIMDU is to give you time to get better but...
Sorry to hear about your medical conditions. According to the new DoDi instruction 1332.45 on deployability, if you are non-deployable for 12 consecutive months, the recommendation is a PEB or a request for a waiver to stay in depending on your MOS/NEC is the case. If you can't make it to...
Thanks. I was also given a different number 202-685-2019. I was told they are processing over 2000 cases and process them on a first in, first out process. They just completed my informal adjudication. It took almost exactly two months and was sent to the VA for ratings this week. I've heard...
Hello:
I'm sorry to hear about your medical conditions. I'm Navy so I don't know if you have been placed on LIMDU? If you have not been deployable for 12 months with the new instruction that came out, you should be sent to a PEB. Also if your condition is not improving after all reasonable...
Does anyone have any more updates on what is causing such long delays in DC? My PEB started Nov 2018, complete package sent to DoD April 9th. My PEBLO only has an update that my case is with the presiding officer this week (IPEB). How long does it sit with a presiding officer? My case has been...
