  • Anything additional to show you are able to succesfully perform will be helpful. Obviously, you should listen to your doctor's advice and only do things withing your limitations. But, if you are able to do APFT (even with alternate event) and pass, this would be helpful. Demonstrate that you can exercise to the best of your ability (to show this, you could keep a log of what exercises you do or get a supervisor to document this in an MFR). If you are able to perform better than your profile indicates, consider asking the doctor for a less restrictive profile.

    You can also stress other work related accomplishments that may not be directly related to physical performance. Letters of commendation, awards, NCOER's, can all help.
