I can't help with your questions, but where did you hear their system is down and do you have any other details? I've been waiting on mine too, my ratings were sent back to the PEB last week.
Called Monday too, I bet I got the same guy right after you. Got an attitude about why people call that number, and that I wont know until I'm discharged. Refused to look anything up or give any sort of status other than "it doesnt work that way"
Same number two weeks ago a nice dude with a...
It certainly is, for the past 2 years. She was apparently a fill in nurse for the doctor that called out that day. I filled a complaint about how half the C&P she did did not reflect the records and how she misrepresented my words in the exam. For example on my GERD/Hiatal Hernia portion she...
Thanks for keeping us posted. I am waiting on ratings back for an MEB for Migraines too. I've been put on quarters about two days a month for a long time. How many have you been put on quarters or missed work for?
Great, thank you! I was just wondering since that second page lists things in the 70% category.
I guess we'll see when I get my results back from the MEB
Thanks, I was wondering about that since I have a few of the items listed in 70 and the rating guide states when it could be either it should be the higher of the two, but it seems a bit ambiguous.
I've read it. I guess more specifically do you guys think it will be 70 or 50. I have a few 70 ratings in there but is that enough to kick in the clause where they select the higher ratjng?
Hey folks. I'm nearing the end of my MEB and was wondering what sort of rating you'd think the VA might consider based on their exam. I didn't receive an electronic version, so I took a picture of the last page of the exam form, which I believe is what they go on for ratings?
I have a 100% separated labrum in my shoulder as well as a tear. Unfortunately that is not classified as "emergency", so you're right about emergency. I was told "Loss of life, limb or sight" is the criteria. So I get to live with the pain until the MEB is over :(
An emergency surgery is authorized during MEB. They will put your MEB on hold until you've had the surgery and are recovered, and do a reexam of your condition before continuing the MEB.
Good luck!
I am in an MEB for my left shoulder, but after two different AF doctors did my ROM I got the ROM results back from the VA at a MUCH higher percentage of mobility.
I put in a complaint before since she physically lifted my arm and kept saying "You can go higher, I know you can...
Your answer is above. The amendment did not make it to the final bill. So retired with 20 or less will not be getting their military retired pay in addition to VA compensation.
