Ok, exams are now with my PEBLO. She emailed me this morning and said she would have my paperwork signed and ready for review today and will send to the PEB tomorrow.

On the VA website, it shows two claims. One is my IDES claim, which is still ongoing it says it's still in the evidence review portion, which is accurate.

However, there is a separate claim that was not initiated by me that says it was open and closed on 25 September and that a decision letter was sent to me.

Is this normal protocol? I haven't seen that before.

Any info helps, thanks ahead of time.

Yeah that's normal. I believe the second doesn't close out until you upload your DD214. Also, call the VA if you don't receive your decision letter ~10 business days after it was sent. The letter is sent to your PEBLO a lot of times so you probably won't get it. And the VA can't tell you ratings over the phone, but they will email it to you if you don't receive it in the mail.

Thanks, VA said the same thing, after the 3rd call.

PEBLO sent me my NARSUM and 3947 with 4 medically disqualifying conditions.

It's now at the PEB and its a waiting game again.

On the bright side, since my proposed ratings have already been sent out, it shouldn't be too much longer.

Good luck! I received my proposed rating, and I was happy with everything EXCEPT the thing they were medically boarding me for. I have had to do a VARR, and even though the timeline says 4 days, I was told to expect 3 weeks.
