Since 2 October 2020 I emailed and tried to call my Peblo several times with out an answer. (the number I had for him was no longer working) Finally, around 4 Dec I went back thru emails and found out who he CC'd on his emails. I emailed her and turns out this guy has been sitting on my case for 2 months, not working it at all. It sat and collected dust. The suspense AFPC gave him was October 2020. Long story short, he was fired (well, sounds like it was more of an option to quit rather than be fired.) This guy has messed with several people's careers/retirements all the way back to Feb 2020. To make it worse, this idiot was retired military. Its an outrage and I'm glad he is gone. So much for 180 day timeline....Anyone else at Sheppard experience this?
So, with that, my case is going to the local board this week, and then off to AFPC hopefully by Friday. The peblo who has taken his cases communicates with me often to give updates. However her work load has doubled now so she's working cases that are even older than mine. So here's where I stand today:
23 Sept 2019 Referred for MEB
4 Aug 2020 finally hear back - Full MEB IDES timeline begins
7 Aug 2020 - Commander signs letter "Do Not Retain"
17 & 18 Sept- C&P Exams Mental health/ X-rays/Physical
2 October 2020 - VA closes claim and I assume it is sent to local MEB
11 Jan 2021 - sent to local board (possibly, I think I'll know more by the end of the day)
