Hello pebforum, great to be here and have you all as an audience. Fairly new to this forum, although I have been lurking for some months with no account. I will do my best to help everyone here with what knowledge I have. Nevertheless I will shed some light on my current journey.

June 2020 - First MH visit
Aug - Oct 2020 - MH/Medical appointments & making known what mental/physical issues make each day difficult. (MDD/Anxiety/PTSD/Spine or back/ knees, right ankle)
Oct 14 2020 - MH provider notifies my self that I have been put up for a MEB, provider directed. Code 37.
Nov 4 2020 - Commander impact statement was received, do not retain. signed & returned within the hour.
Dec 2 2020 - PCM grants my wishes for a waiver for some physical activities due to back, knee, ankle issues.
Jan 1-12? 2021 - Peblo reaches out, tells me that MEB has been 'approved'. Gathering medical records/documents to give to VA.
March 2 2021 - In the dark, no updates or word from anyone. Email sent to Peblo about current dilemma, medical plans going forward and what's next...

Work has been difficult, so many things going on. Doing my best to be positive & power through each day. Wishing this process can come to an end so I can start the next chapter.

If the pebforum community can offer some insight as to what they believe is going on in my case, where I am at in the process etc. Will be greatly appreciated. I acknowledge each base is different and the way they operate is as well, perhaps some validation and reassurance is needed hahah. ;)

I would call the PEBLO. I honestly call mine once a week to make sure there's nothing else I need to do or could be doing. Like you I'm incredibly eager to be out and start my civilian life. Also, mine is for a number of mental health issues. Are you doing IDES or LDES?

I believe I am in the IDES. Peblo's don't seem to be of much help, our chats are always short and not in depth. Should expect an email this week from Peblo hopefully, will call as well if needed. I understand covid is complicating things, but at least having a target date would help. This would be my 6th month in this, should be out this month according to the timeframes they set out, best guess is April - Aug. 2021 timeframe now. My other medical care team say its a good thing & things are moving along, maybe I'm impatient.

Yeah, crippling anxiety is near the top of my list of symptoms so I can't help but call every week at the lease to ask for dates or target dates. You should just shoot them a call and ask for a target date or normal time frame for something similar to your situation. I'm not sure how your PEBLO is but mine seems to be really understanding.

Squeaky wheel gets the oil.

I'm also a cop going through this process, so I understand the frustration's of going through this process within our career field. Like Ben said, contact your PEBLO on a weekly basis and say "what can I do at this moment to help make this process go as quick as possible." I have been doing that since the start and have had some decent luck on keeping momentum. If you have any questions on the verbiage of this process feel free to ask and someone will help out.

Update, just called my peblo. our first phone call since early january lol. I should be receiving a call from the VA next week, should be setting up VA exams on the call as well. anyone know what happens after? I would assume this is the tail end of the process right? set up va appointments, then get my ratings shortly after then a out date? anyone have knowledge on this part of the process?

You will complete all the necessary appointments, and then once the providers on the VA/QTC side complete everything on their end, they will send the information to your PEBLO, and a "local board" will be completed. The local board is essentially a few people getting together and putting your package together to send to AFPC for the final disposition/ratings. There really isn't a time frame on this. I completed my appointments on 05 Dec 20, and my PEBLO received everything on 04 Jan 21 but I didn't sign my "local board" AF 618 (Medical Board Report) package until 10 Feb. I hope this helps.

Very helpful, thank you J. With that information, I can only conclude that it would be a few more months until I am finally out. So much for that 6 month time frame, its frustrating but there is always a silver lining and a reason to be positive.

Also, I just recently found out the "230 day timeline" does not start until you are contacted by your PEBLO. Once contact is made, that is "officially" when the MEB starts. So, the whole process with being DNA'd/starting the IRILO, none of that time counts towards the MEB/PEB timeline. Let me know what other questions you have along the way and I'll try and help out where I can.

Some very good information, one thing I picked up along this whole thing was the lack of transparency and information. Find out as you go, which I do not like.

Finally some movement, got the cogs turning. My health care proffesionals kept asking me during my appointments about any updates, and thought it was strange there was no news or updates. They kept asking my peblo for updates and that got things in motion. I guess all I needed was some more help from them. Anyways, VA exams April 15/21!!

Update: Just got a call from my PCM today stating he did receive all the VA exam info from my peblo, and he asked if I am feeling same/worse/better. Told him I was gradually getting worse, said ok no problem and signed of on whatever he had in front of him. Not sure if this is good or not, but it seems things are picking up speed. PCM said I should be contacted soon with ratings? Hoping for the best!

Between Apr 29 and June 2.. When did your VA case close?
My VA case is closed already but I believe the PEB doesn’t fully make their decision until the VA ratings are in.

The VA forwarded the decision to PEB 11 Jun for me and my MEB Package was sent to PEB 15 Jun

I finished all of my C&P exams June 8th and it shows my case is still finding evidence but that it was updated June 8th. This is a painful process lol...

once you complete your exams the docs have up to 30 days to finish paperwork and QC, then you should get your NARSUM. you then have 6 days to review and sign this document. then the real waiting starts. Looks like this stage takes about two months before your official ratings come back in the for of your 199(Army)
