Not yet. I am afraid that I won't for quite some time since the VA reopened another claim on me and after speaking to my PEBLO yesterday I won't get my ratings until that claim is finished.
I am not sure whether or not I believe him (my PEBLO) because the things the VA opened up were not what I was boarded for so my DoD ratings isn't going to change.
They screwed up and didn't find service connection on a few things because they didn't have copies of orders I was on and since i am a Guardsman it looked to the VA that I was only authorized service connection for the LOD condition.
Cobat Related coded as No instead of "S" for conditions simulating war. My understanding is that if it is an "S" then my severence is tax free but since it is a "No" then it is not. I got hurt during a deployment exercise and my orders, LOD, and medical documentation all stated this but they just do what they want. I asked mny PEBLO and was told I would have to go to formal board to have it corrected. What a joke!
I was told, which I will believe it when it happens, that the severence is still tax free and that the "S" would only make me eligible for CRSC so I signed and accepted the findings. This IDES stuff has beaten me so badly that I don't care to fight anymore. I will regain my strength and formulate a plan and attack it again at some point in the future but right now isn't the right time for me to do so.
