I don’t think there would be any reason for the VBA to even know anything about your appointments unless they were part of C&P exam or you file a new claim. Once you’re 100% PT, the VBA has no reason to follow your medical treatment.

I wish I had taken Jason’s advice and gone to the Federal court after initial denial. I wasted more than 2.5 years on the ABCMR appeal. I believe the chances of success at the ABCMR on anything except actual paperwork correction or well documented missing awards is remote.

Mine was received by ABCMR on January 25, 2016. I received medical opinion on October 27, 2017 and submitted my comments on November 1, 2017. Four months of crickets since.

The NVLSP is an excellent organization with a tremendous track record. That said, if your timeline is tight, you might be better off with your Navy attorney. If that doesn’t work out, use them for the BCNR. ABCMR is taking more than 18 months to render decision. I don’t know about BCNR.
