    IDES Timeline

It’s like any civilian that works in a government position puts little to no effort into their jobs. I’m grateful that my PEBLO was on top of everything until my package was sent to the PEB. After that he’s just completely ignored me.

It’s ridiculous how much a med board can mess your transition up.

Yeah 169 days for me and I’m not even optimistic that my EAS will be before the spring semester so I can even start school.

I’m about at that point. I hit my 8 year mark this week. Lol

I thought it was absolutely odd that on the FB group a female Marine was approved for this but had just had her case sent to the PEB like a month or two prior. There isn’t a whole lot of info I’ve been able to find and I decided to not even attempt it after my command told me to fuck off about...

I need a lot more than a hug lol. If I can’t start my job by first week of December Theyre giving it to someone else.

    How long should I expect?

There are currently 5200 cases at the PEB as of last week. Strap in and get ready for a little bit of a wait.

Yeah the order is the Marine Corps retirement and separations manual. There isn’t a whole lot of info on it but it is in there.

Also I would like to say that In the order it says usually when you do this it can severely screw your pay and benefits up.

Not a bad trade off to spend the rest of your time at home instead of being harassed by a toxic ass command.

I believe the order says you have to use all of your leave days so you should probably do that before you submit.

I’ve seen one Marine get it approved. But it has to be approved by headquarters and she had to prove it was a hardship.

Idk if the navy has anything like the Marines “home awaiting orders”. Essentially you get placed on home duty while you wait for the PEB if you have a hardship going on. You could also argue mental health.

Well that’s some bullshit. May 3. All of my documents say unfit. My case should be easy. Yet I’ve seen multiple people that submitted a week after me already get theirs back.

    EAS Update

It’s between 1 and 4 weeks from what I’ve seen on Facebook.

I don’t expect the holiday season to help speed things up much either.

    My Timeline

This entire process and what I’ve gone through as well as what others have gone through. It really made me hate the Marine Corps as an organization.

    My Timeline

Not to mention your command still expecting you to be a top performer with your injuries and constantly bitching at you to work harder when you’re already injured. I’m so done with this shit

Yeah PEBLO showed me the number today and how many days I’ve been at the med officer.
