I should probably wait until the early May cases start getting briefed before I go that far into asking where it is. Just sucks the people that should know don’t know anything.

I’ve never been assigned to wounded warrior but from the reps I spoke to it’s a way to give Marines the ability to take care of their medical issues and not have to worry about performing in their MOS and potentially injuring themselves even more.

How do you get such in depth info about your case? I’ve spoken with the IDES paralegal and they told me there is no way for them to check where my case is in the QUEUE. Essentially told me that all he can see is that it’s at the PEB nothing else.

Just try your absolute hardest to get orders to wounded warrior battalion. From what I’ve heard they are amazing. My previous command told me to fuck off when I asked them and made sure I didn’t get a chance because my injuries weren’t from “IEDs” and I wasn’t “missing limbs” Just getting PCAd...

Instead of starting my second LIMDU my doc referred me to a med board. Once your case is accepted by the PEB you should be able to go into your messages tab on MOL and it will show the date it was accepted for action. My MOL says full duty but my command knows I’m on the PEB so they don’t ask...

It sucks but there is literally nothing any of us can do but wait and that’s the worst part.

Yeah I dealt with the same stuff. I threatened to request generals mast a few times and then they PCAd me to a better command.

I would recommend since it will be such a long wait for you that you attempt to get your command to send you to wounded warrior.

I got everything submitted quickly with my PEBLO but after that communication basically just stopped because of them teleworking.

Well they haven’t finished going through April’s packages yet so id have to agree with CECS-USMC, you’re in for at least a 6 month wait on just the PEB.

I’m going to call him tomorrow and at least make sure it’s at the medical officer. I’ve seen a woman on Facebook that they inputted the wrong info on and she ended up waiting 220 days.

    Navy wounded warrior/ PEB update

That’s awesome! I’m glad at least some people get to utilize wounded warrior. I really regret not requesting mast over it but I was worried I’d be treated even worse by them if I did.

    USMC TIMELINE

From my understanding your VA claims will say pending decision approval until the PEB concludes and you send the VA a copy of your DD214 so they can finalize it.
