    Navy wounded warrior/ PEB update

I’m a Marine. When I originally tried doing wounded warrior my flight surgeon told me that it’s up to the command if I get sent since it would be TAD orders. They essentially told me to F off because I would still count against the squadrons manpower. I didn’t try again because my Peblo told me...

    Navy wounded warrior/ PEB update

I attempted that but my command said I didn’t “rate” because I’m not “missing any limbs” and “haven’t been hit by an IED”

    I'm filing an IG complaint

My “leadership” sent me to another command as soon as I went on a board and also said I was faking for the first 6 months of LIMDU. I’d have to agree that they’re not even a little sympathetic lol. I have a job lined up for November… hopefully I am out by then.

    I'm filing an IG complaint

If I stay here much longer I may be able to draw a perfect image of this room still in 20 years.

    I'm filing an IG complaint

I wish the Navy could somehow request help from other branches to get caught back up since their staffing is so messed up right now.

    I'm filing an IG complaint

You’d think they’d try to expedite people out so they can fill more spots in the fleet with people that are fit for duty rather than having people like me being paid 5K a month to stare at a wall for 9 hours a day waiting to EAS. Lol

    USMC TIMELINE

What exactly does it mean when it’s “at the medical officer”? I assume it means that the PEB is concluded and it’s just sitting on a desk waiting for it to be finalized? Can anyone clarify? Sorry if this is a stupid question… PEBLO has not told me anything about my stuff other than “give it a...

I’ve seen a few guys at 110-120+ Days. Including myself. We’re still waiting.

    Anyone?

I don’t even understand how this hasn’t been addressed yet by HQMC. 122 days is atrocious.

    USMC TIMELINE

So I talked to a paralegal that’s been in contact with the PEB and he essentially told me the PEB is an absolute ClusterF*ck right now and to not expect anything being done anytime soon.

Continuing to push all options in an attempt to have some sort of movement. Here is my latest: This has gotten ridiculous. I really hope these guys get a fire lit under them from y’all’s efforts and start processing these boards in a timely manner. I’m about to hit my 4 month mark and it should...

That’s the way it is supposed to be in case you are found fit for duty by the PEB even with a disability rating. If your PEBLO is cool he/she might tell you it before the PEB is over. I found out I got preliminary rating of 100% in June and I’m still waiting for the PEB since 3 May.

    USMC TIMELINE

Here is what my PEBLO told me today: Mine has been waiting at the PEB since 3 May. Tomorrow will make it 100 days for me. PEBLO told me today that I should hear back from them in 2 weeks because they did their mid summer PCS for their personnel and it slowed everything down.
