LOD Story by NBC (Bay Area)

Sorry for the troubles you are having. Please feel free to PM anytime. I try to check things at least once a day. Anyway I can help and share advice I will. It is all a painful and lengthy process. I think that is the hardest part, waiting for updates, receiving communication, wondering if...

LOD Story by NBC (Bay Area)

CA leads out of all states. But this is an issue across the nation. In AZ my unit took two years to complete my LODs. I had no idea of the timelines for formal and informal to be completed in until a new UA came to our unit and began assisting me. She then told me this was long over due. I came...

Created signature to show my timeline with the whole process. Hope this helps some with a better idea of Army wait times regarding CRSC. Once retro payment is made I will update. Thanks again for the feedback and assistance! RonG, thank you for your knowledge and sharing it with us as well as...

    My CRSC timeline

The letter head is dated for 28FEB2019. So about a week for it to hit in HRC and 8 business days or so for letter in the mail. DFAS still has nothing updated. Not sure how accurate the time frame for first payment and retro pay is. I'm hoping to see something for 01April2019 in DFAS and my bank...

    My CRSC timeline

Hopefully it doesn't take that long. HRC had my determination loaded on 08MAR2019 and I received the letter from them in the mail on 11MAR2019. HRC could walk it to you in 15-20 business days.

Army HRC website Click my records. Log in. Click Reserve/Retiree/Veteran Record Click Documents. CRSC document should be at or near top of the list depending on what has been loaded after the CRSC document, if anything.

    NVLSP assistance for CRSC

Update: CRSC approved. CRSC packet shows original application date: 03JAN2019. Packet was mad available via Army HRC website on 08MAR2019. Looks like claims are still moving pretty fast with the Army. All my conditions that are rated with the VA have been approved for CRSC as combat related...

    VA Recoupment and DoD Retirement

flyin_dutchman, The big that concerns me is having a commanders signature on the paperwork since I am no longer in. I hope it all works out like it should for us all. If and when I get a response back I will let you all know what happens. Wouldn't a new claim pop up for the recoupment if...

    VA Recoupment and DoD Retirement

I believe the future VA payments will be less. At least this is what was done in my case in the past. I did recently receive a letter from the VA saying they were going to recoup for drill days I did in FY17. This was already recouped. I wrote them back and provided the details and amounts...

That is also what I saw Ron. It would be nice to have something come back within that time frame. I would like to see a lot more updates with this being the new norm as well.

    NVLSP assistance for CRSC

Just wanted to give an update with the NVLSP process. My lawyer assisting me put together a packet after supplying him with everything he needed. He helped clean up and organize everything being submitted. In the end, it came out pretty great in my opinion. It is the first application I have...

If you are DOD TDRL/PDRL retired with less than 20 years of service please read.

So, if I am tracking this correctly, and please correct me if I am wrong, we want POTUS to sign H.R.5515 which is currently waiting for him to sign or veto? And this would be beneficial to S.Amdt.2394 which helps with TDRL/PDRL retirees with less than 20 years get a step closer to receiving...

    NVLSP assistance for CRSC

sadb14, Thank for the info. Sucks to hear of the tie frame and problems with VA claims being reopened and not by you. Hopefully the Texas Vet service will work much faster. I have read time lines for others and seems like the process is fairly simple but for some reason it get dragged out. Not...

    NVLSP assistance for CRSC

Thanks Ron. I am not sure how they plan on expediting anything as well as I assumed it was a first come first served basis. Part of the documents I provided was an application just to see if I had things right. They never said anything about that, just not to submit an applications during this...
