199 issues..any help will be appreciated

I talked to my PEBLO yesterday and was informed that my 199 has been in the process of being written since June 28, it is now Aug 1. I am not sure if this is the usual timeline I am in the legacy system. I was being med boarded for sleep apnea w/ CPAP, PTSD, and both hips being replaced. I am...

    Just wondering

Its been 6 weeks since my PEB packet has been submitted. Does anyone happen to know how long it usually takes? A little background I had both hips replaced, PTSD, sleep apnea with CPAP, and both knees are bad. Been in the Army almost 15 1/2 years. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

    need some help

On another note, I am active and the main reason for me going through the MEB process is because of my hips and sleep apnea. I am a 13F by trade.

    need some help

I have just been informed that I have to go through the MEB process. Real quick, I have had both hips replaced and I have been diagnosed with PTSD and obstructive sleep apnea which I use a CPAP for. I was told that at most I might get 20% for everything. This I refuse to believe. I have 3...

    need help

I was sort of thinking that. Wasn't sure if it would be 30% for both hips or 30% each hip. I'll find out soon enough I guess. I hope that they raise your percentage so you can retire if they won't let you stay in. To do 15 years and to just be let go in my opinion is wrong. Best of luck to...

    need help

I really appreciate all the support I have gotten so. As far as my MOS goes I need to change because it requires a lot of heavy lifting, long movements on foot, long runs and so forth. I wish I could go back to doing this as crazy as it sounds. But trying to accomplish this with two hip...

    need help

People here have mentioned the MEB process but I always get a vague explanation. Trying to find out on my own as much as I can. My surgeon told me I wouldn't be able to stay in my job due to the fact that I have had both hips replaced. Plus I was told that I don't qualify for WTU. Trying to...
