    My Navy Timeline for Radiculopathy

If my knowledge serves me correct, it depends where you are in it, if it creates a new claim or not. If you're in the MEB portion, everything is stopped, and I believe there is a period after surgery that has to elapse (90 days??) before it either restarts or continues. I think seeing as the...

It's a customer service desk, so just whoever picks up, just ask them about the status of your MEB package. And I called after like a week after my PEBLO sent my package to the PEB. I never had the same person ever pick up, so don't worry too much about annoying anyone.

Same man, the QA phase annoyed me when the rest of my IDES case has been extremely quick. I've now since encountered a few other issues, one being the admin department where I am stationed didn't want to open up a TOPS ticket to get me hard copies, they kept saying my retirement packet has to...

    My Navy Timeline

Yes & yes. QA phase was the longest portion of this entire process, the PEB kept quoting me 25 to 30 days, however if you're like me and severely impatient, you might get lucky like I did and found a rep over the phone from the VA who will neither confirm or deny your proposed rating. If you...

    My Navy Timeline for Radiculopathy

Should be pretty quick, I had all mine scheduled like 2 days after initiating the MEB process. And memorize the ratings and the differences, so you know when it comes to neurology, when they are doing the questionaire, you know how to answer it properly.

http://militarydisabilitymadeeasy.com/lowernerves.html#sciatic That will show you how it is rated. My best advice is to be modest with yourself when it comes to the scale of pain, don't say it's barely painful at all when in reality you suffer with it every day of your life, and will continue to.

    My Navy Timeline

Yeah that will update after the PEB forwards it to the VA (if found unfit). It will go from review of evidence to preparation of decision, to then pending decision approval and then you will get a claim that will go historical. When it goes historical that means they have a rating for you, I was...

I am here in Great Lakes too. Probably explains why your PEBLO is useless, probably the same one as me LOL! The attorney here is a really good guy, but he wasn't the one assigned to me in the beginning, I just walked into this guys office while at the VA here and he helped me. I'll dig and see...

Good :) don't lose hope. I've met some people who waited 6 months to sign the finalized papers after submitting to PEB, then there's some people like me who can get through the entire thing from submitting to the PEB to signing the final papers in 50 days. I hope everything speeds up for you...

Doesn't sound right at all. Once you sign your NARSUM it should be submitted to PEB, whom decides if you are fit or unfit, and depending on if you are in the IDES system, then it gets forwarded to the VA for them to rate the findings, goes back to PEB for QA phase, and you then agree or disagree...

    Average fit/unfit decision

Not entirely, PEB keeps telling me 25-30 days for the QA phase to finish. My package was sent to PEB for fit/unit 06MAR, unfit on 15MAR, case closed and went historial 30MAR, and I got my supposed VA rating a few days after by calling and getting lucky on who answered, but now its 14APR and I...
