    2018 - Navy - 14 yrs AD - E6 - TIMELINE

With careful considerations and guidance from the following resources here and on base (IDES attorney/Safe Harbor/WWP/VA social worker) I’ll be signing my IPEB ‘original’ findings for TDRL DoD 40% and VA 100% P&T instead of appealing the DoD percentage to include the 70% MH. Reasons basically...

    2018 - Navy - 14 yrs AD - E6 - TIMELINE

Got clarification from my IDES attorney on a few things while going over the PEB report: -CRSC potentially could be approved once I file after EAOS. -Pointed out to me right away, 38 USC CH 35 was awarded (really hidden on the report doesn't say 100% P&T) but, somehow translates to VA 100%...

    2018 - Navy - 14 yrs AD - E6 - TIMELINE

Going through the IPEB report Combat condition code 1 (so not combat-related somehow) under Legacy Code. CRSC verbiage stated by the PEB Presiding Officer: "The PEB considered whether your unfitting disability was incurred in combat zone (CZ), during combat-related (CR-IOW, SW, HZ)...

    2018 - Navy - 14 yrs AD - E6 - TIMELINE

Original findings are as follows: TDRL DoD 40%, VA 100%. Pending legal guidance: Multiple MEB referred conditions with addendum letters/NARSUMS were included in my IPEB case, from Nuerology/Internal Medicine (Myopathy/Recurrent Rhabdomyolysis), Urology (voiding dysfunction) and Mental Health...

    2018 - Navy - 14 yrs AD - E6 - TIMELINE

eBenefits updated to "Pending Decision Approval." Completion date range changed from 11/28/2018 - 05/14/2019 to 11/11/2018 - 02/18/2019. Looks to be on track to find out findings this month.

    2018 - Navy - 14 yrs AD - E6 - TIMELINE

eBenefits updated to "Preparation for decision." Completion date range is unchanged 11/28/2018 - 05/14/2019. Seeing a few other member timelines looks to be anywhere near 20-30 days for the claim to go historical but, PEBLO was saying at least on the Navy side their other cases were getting...

Wounded Warriors exempt from DoD policy to separate non-deployable personnel!

Fair to say, the definition of PEB 'Unfit' decisions just grew a bit probably even at the MEB level?

    2018 - Navy - 14 yrs AD - E6 - TIMELINE

eBenefits updated to "Development Letter Sent," and 'estimated completion' date range is now 11/28/2018 - 05/14/2019. Does this forecast a VA/DoD finding within this month in August??

Found "Fit" at PEB but Detailer can't find a job that meets limitations. What is next?

My fault must’ve not read that in your original post

Found "Fit" at PEB but Detailer can't find a job that meets limitations. What is next?

Sorry to hear you’re going through such a hassle, with this already complex and sometimes overwhelming process the PEB can be. Are you in the Navy by chance? Just sounds like the PEB for the Navy side is very unfair in some cases. You’ve reached out to the right resource here, there are many...

Anticipating TDRL, could a VARR submission to request PDRL be worth the time and effort?

Makes sense. I had thought maybe the 6 yrs of treatment including a stable verbiage addendum memo from MH could potentially favor a PDRL. It seems though, even with such medical evidence the chances are still likely TDRL...thanks for your input on this!

Anticipating TDRL, could a VARR submission to request PDRL be worth the time and effort?

Taking a look through their 2-page addendum letter, unfortunately this Navy format memo doesn't include a yes/no recommendation. In the closing remarks: "SM engaged in individual therapy and medication management. The SM has been engaged with MH in 2012. Stopped follow up after 24 Jul 2012...

Anticipating TDRL, could a VARR submission to request PDRL be worth the time and effort?

I call BS, your entire demeanor is unwanted and unwarranted. You speak for your own benefits only, and take pleasure in putting down others.

Anticipating TDRL, could a VARR submission to request PDRL be worth the time and effort?

Appreciate the reply! NARSUM/addendum memo for MH in summary (including +6 yrs MH 'stable' treatment), is dictating 'stable' and may warrant (per IDES attorney prediction) 50%-70% DoD. The Urology is likely unstable based off their addendum write-up, but the C&P shows verbiage of stable...

Anticipating TDRL, could a VARR submission to request PDRL be worth the time and effort?

@Cubsfan5150 do you have any relavent remarks to add or are just probing to get a reaction out of people going through this life changing ordeal? Are you an E8 like you claim to be? Here’s my reaction to satisfy your craving. If so it’s a direct reflection to this day and age ‘toxic senior...

Anticipating TDRL, could a VARR submission to request PDRL be worth the time and effort?

The following have been referred for MEB and addendums submitted to IPEB from mupltiple specialist’s: Neuro/Internal Medicine-Myopathy and recurrent Rhabdomyolysis; Mental Health-MDD, PTSD, generalized anxiety, insomnia; Urology-voiding dysfunction, Heistancy Micturition and frequency. Claimed...

Anticipating TDRL, could a VARR submission to request PDRL be worth the time and effort?

14 yrs 4 mos-AD-Navy-E6 awaiting original IPEB findings. Curious if anyone here has attempted to appeal a TDRL finding, appeal it and get PDRL? From doing the research on this forum, I realize PTSD or mental health conditions usually ‘always’ favor a TDRL decision. However does +6 yrs of...
