Free College for 100% VA Vets

I do not believe so. My understanding is they give us a monthly stipend based of whether she is full, half or quarter time to use to pay for the classes.

Free College for 100% VA Vets

Hello Vets, I was recently awarded a 100% VA rating and found some very good information. I used the GI Bill to receive my undergrad degree. I then used Voc Rehab to pay for a Master's Certificate that gave me 18 out of the 30 credits to receive my Master's. I thought I would have to pay myself...

    VA Back log

I submitted my claim in August. I did my C&P exam the end of February and got a decision last week. Per Vets.gov website my estimated completion date was May 2019, then went to July after my C&P exam. Two weeks later it moved to September and then last week moved to November. Ebenefits shows my...

100% VA rating and free college

I recently was awarded 100% VA rating. Talking with another vet was told at 100% total and permanent VA rating my spouse and kids could go to college for free. I did some research and found that Chapter 35 does talk about this but is not very clear. My kids are two and 5 months so college is...

    Medical Retirement Pay Calculation

I saw a thread a couple months ago on how your retirement pay is calculated but now I cannot find it. I am 90% VA rated so I am sure I will not receive any pay from a medical retirement if I am granted one retroactively but still I am curious what the amount would be. I served 4 years and 2...

Back pay for medical related expenses

Thanks, this if unfortunate for my family. I have paid quite a bit in out of pocket and premiums, I was hoping if I am granted retro retirement that I could recoup my previous medical expenses. I am not going to worry to much right now seeing I have not been awarded retro medical retirement yet.

    Denied PDBR

I guess I need to provide some additional information. I was medically discharged on 20100222 @ 20%. I have since been able to get my VA rating to 90% but felt I should have been medically retired because I met the requirements for a 40% rating as a Type 1 diabetic that required insulin...

    Help Submitting PDBR

I reached out NVLSP Lawyers Serving Warriors and filled out their application. They conducted a prelim screen of my application and believe my case has merit. Next step they are going to request my VA and DOD files which they said could take 3-10 months, but this is promising news. So I have...
