    Hickam MEB Process -PTSD/BIPOLAR/ANXIETY ETC

Well best of luck...if Your case actually gets reviewed. Every time I go by the office the doors closed. I didn’t know you could do two programs. Did you do them at two different locations?

Let me know how that program is. I have a flier for it but not sure it’s for me.

    Hickam MEB Process -PTSD/BIPOLAR/ANXIETY ETC

Good luck. I’m starting the process now. That PEBLO office is understaffed. The Hickam Med group leadership doesn’t think the PEBLO is an important position. I’m surprised they don’t have a full time GS-12 or Officer full time in there. Instead they place an NCO & first term airman in the...

Thanks Jason for chiming in on this one. Fishmom look up AFI 36-2910 5.2; and 5.2.6. Speaks to not needing SAF approval to keep you on extended order if you are in the DES. “Unless the member is entered into the DES IAW AFI 41-210”

    Medical Standards Directory [Deleted]

Here is the latest Air Force MSD dated this month. The biggest point is; Airmen with any degree of obstructive sleep apnea do NOT require an IRILO if their symptoms are well controlled using a PAP machine or oral positional devices. Deployment waiver may still be required per COCOM reporting...

    Air Force Resource V1

Aloha forum, This is a cheat sheet that I had made after months of experiencing lots of finger-pointing. I think it’s a fairly solid cheat sheet that may help you. If there are things I can add, please mention it. The tough part is to encourage people to actually follow these regulations :-)...

I agree with chaplaincharlie here that it would be totally worth you reaching out to an attorney. NILOD- 1)Absent without authority- Made after formal investigation 2)Due to Member’s misconduct 3)EPTS- Not service aggravated (EPTS-NSA)-made by clear and unmistakable evidence that condition...

    LOD on ADOS?

If you’re that far away you’re covered. I referred to an Air Force reg, I assume in the forum documents you’ll find one for the army. But essentially it should say when the military provider is supplied civilian documentation and enters a profile for that individual. They should do an LOD. And...

    Army Reserve Medical Retirement?

From what I have seen, yes, as long as you keep at least one month of post 9/11 on the side.

    LOD on ADOS?

You should be getting seen via the military health system unless you are geographically separated from one. Aside from that...an LOD was required to be done per 2.2 of 36-2910. The military provider was required to have initiated one within 5 days of you turning in you’re outside medical...

    Army Reserve Medical Retirement?

If you Are you saying you recently transferred to your son which required the additional 4 year commitment? if you are medically retired you essentially satisfy that additional 9/11 commitment time.

36-2910 indicates the amount of time they have to initiate and complete an LOD. IMO the LOD should have been imitated immediately. WHEN YOU REPORTED THE LUMP. 1.6.8. For ARC, in addition to the situations listed above, an LOD determination must be made when: 1.6.8.1. The member incurs or...

    Peer reviewed recovery timelines

Sounds like an easy fix. They suggested that my tendon tear and radial tunnel syndrome would be resolved in 56 days (via their peer review). Funny thing is my primary care team had me pop Motrin for 19 months before granting me an MRI.

    Peer reviewed recovery timelines

Aloha forum, Could anyone direct me to a resource for Peer reviewed recovery timelines? I am applying for MEDCON (not a well run process) but they are referencing Peer reviewed recovery timelines that seem pretty arbitrary. Any input here is appreciated.

Jason, I’m brand new to your forum but would be happy to contribute. Can you PM me? I saw your lifetime donation suggests a hidden forum but don’t know what that’s about. Additionally, I think I might be able to help in other ways. Nate

    Deploy or out

It’s funny as this has been in the regs for years. It looks like they now want to force the medical community to do the paperwork. Which is slow in the AD world and worse in the guard side...we have people on 3 year WWD profiles but haven’t MEB’d them. Retention there will be a problem...
