    Follow-up: P&T Received

yea, I wish I could, but I think too much into everything. It's a curse.

    Follow-up: P&T Received

It does say P&T, but the verbiage about evaluating being continued confuses me honestly.

    Follow-up: P&T Received

Ok, another follow up. I called the VA and got the letter emailed. It does not state anything about IU or TDIU so I think I am in the clear there. Though I am confused about the verbiage. So, from my understanding, Permanent and Total means you are essentially not having to continue to do...

    Follow-up: P&T Received

I understand that that is what you went through. But from what I have read in here and on law websites, P&T does not automatically mean you cannot work. Though, you never know, I could be wrong, things change all the time.

    Follow-up: P&T Received

I appreciate your answer, but I dont believe that to be correct. P&T doesnt mean you are unemployable, IU or TDIU is what you would need to become unemployable. And having 70% does not make you automatically P&T. Update: I still did not get the letter, I will probably call today or tomorrow and...

    Follow-up: P&T Received

Good Morning Everyone, Been a few months now. I have some follow-up info and questions. I did my C&P re-eval for my PTSD/Depression a few weeks back and they actually sent out the letter and closed it very quickly. Though it has been almost 10 business days and the letter still hasnt arrived. I...

Post PEB: Looking to apply for P&T

Good Morning, It has been awhile since I have been in the forum. I have discussed this some in the past, but I am looking for more clarification. I got out via a MEB/PEB back in February 2017. It has been 4 years now and I am wondering when I should be getting another evaluation to change my VA...

    CRSC Question

Curious, looking at some of that information, would PTSD be better put under presumptive rather than armed conflict if I dont have a specific event?

    CRSC Question

RaiderX, I was down-range for OIF, I was not a part of the Gulf War.

    CRSC Question

Ok, sounds like this will be a long painstaking process. I will start to compile my evidence and see where I end up and if I feel it is worth a shot. I will also try to get in contact with my old battle buddies and see if they can put together a letter. Thanks guys.

    CRSC Question

So, it was more a culmination of events that caused the PTSD not one specific event. I assume it would fall under armed conflict, but the examples under armed conflict are all physical injuries.

    CRSC Question

Thanks for the reply RaiderX. What is a buddy statement, or what does it entail?

    CRSC Question

Good Morning, Back when I medboarded from the Army, my PTSD was listed as not combat related, which is untrue, but because I didnt want to prolong the process I decided not to appeal that decision. My question now is: Since my disability is listed from the VA as not being combat related what...

I understand. I appreciate all of your feedback. Thanks.

    Post Separation TDRL Re-Eval

If I request for an increase to P&T, can the VA downgrade a disability that was already considered permanent by the DoD? Also, should I just request an increase for the disability that is considered by the VA to be unstable for it to be permanent or should this be a whole separate claim asking...

    Post Separation TDRL Re-Eval

Ok, this is making a bit more sense. Will the VA likely increase it to P&T since the DoD put me on PDRL? How do I ask for an increase? Is it similar to submitting a new claim? I appreciate the clarification and help.

    Post Separation TDRL Re-Eval

Then from my understanding and what I see in Ebenefits it has not been changed to P&T yet, just 100%. Will that be changed or do I need to do anything?

    CRSC

My confusion is with question 9. From my understanding I would put no for both of those. Then I would not qualify according to this part: Can someone clarify? Thanks.

    Post Separation TDRL Re-Eval

Maybe I am just getting a bit confused with the process. Once put onto PDRL will the VA end up updating my benefits summary to state 100% P&T or am I misunderstanding something.
